When I go down a list of emails in WLM some can't be opened or deleted. The emails are definitely there i.e. they are new emails I haven't looked at before. I used to delete emails on my phone Yahoo mail reader but stopped doing that in case that was what was causing the problem (though there were unreadable emails in WLM I had not done anything with on Yahoo Mail). So still having the problem. I have tried repairing WLM by doing the download Windows Essentials and choosing the repair but it had no effect. Don't think I can do that now since Essentials not downloadable. In any case it didn't work. I steered away from WLM since that would have lost the thousands of emails I have stored. I could of course have exported the emails to a file (which I occasionally do anyway as backup) and reinstalled,  but when you reimport the mails are store in an import folder and you have to reset up the file structure anew and copy each folder in the import folder to  new corresponding folder you have set up. This takes forever. I can BTW delete the emails by dragging them one at a time (can't do multiples at a time). But cannot see any way to open the emails that won't open. you can't forward them either. Actually there is another way to delete the emails which is to double click them, then close the error pop up box, then they will delete normally (but you still can't open them).

I have thought of moving to the new Windows Mail App but it is just an online viewer so I can't actually import any of the emails I have stored.

Ideas for a fix?
