Hi everyone, to start off, I'm running Windows 7 on an Acer computer that has intel Core i5 inside. I make videos for youtube and have been using this computer for a year or two and now I'm just having problems. Before I had an older version of Movie Maker( don't remember which one) but I started having problems like it wouldn't save my videos or it would say my file are corrupted or missing. So I uninstalled whatever I had and installed Movie Maker 2012, while I don't have the same problems as before, now movie maker ruins the quality of my videos significantly. I have a camera that films HD videos and they play HD on my computer as well. But then as soon as I save them though Movie Maker the color turns horrible quality, like a poor quality orange hue and it's not HD. Then even watching the saved video outside of movie maker it stills plays a horrible quality video after I saved it as "high-definition display" on movie maker. I'm so frustrated I can't figure out how to fix this problem. I'm also not very tech savy so your help is much appreciated!
P.S. if no one can help, is there at least somewhere I can go for this type of problem? Thank you!!
I have the same problem. I suggest getting a different video program, maybe a paid one, or finding somewhere to download Movie Maker 2011, because I didn’t have this problem with that version, although it is still poor.
