I have recently got a new Dell laptop. I installed Windows Live Mail. It worked for a week then I got the error "Connection to the server has failed".
I inspected the setting for the outgoing server and it was correct, but I re-entered the same setting. It worked for a few emails then the same error.
I have re-installed WLM. Same results.
I have opened a new account in WLM. Same results.
It seems as if some program is interfering with the outgoing server address.
Does anyone have any ideas what is happening, and/or a solution?
