I am helping a friend access her Virgin Media e-mail using Windows Live Mail.

I have set-up the account on several occasions using Virgin's IMAP settings and it downloads e-mail and functions normally for several weeks. After a few weeks the e-mail account disappears from the accounts list (inbox + sub folders disappear too) and several folders named something like 'recovered e-mail' with a date after appear under 'storage folders'.

I can recover by setting the account back up but once again, several weeks later the same thing happens.

I have attempted to uninstall WLM and re-install but this hasn't helped!

Any help would be gratefully received!
