Windows 10 appears to be incompatible with Windows Live Mail. Upgraded yesterday and it refuses to synch with Comcast server. All settings have been checked, tried every possible port, matched exact settings to my other machine that is still on Windows 8.1, have deleted account in the Windows 10 mail app, ..... nothing allows it to work. Call to help desk first line rep could not even tell me if it is compatible and after an hour on hold have given up.
Any ideas?
1. Windows 10 will not down load file mso.dll to enable outlook express to be opened (I still have old emails stored). Have tried various web site suggestions but none have worked.
2. Windows 10 (I assume) is blocking my username and password for my talktalk.net address from opening Inbox, Outbox etc. Again web search has not come up with anything to solve the problem.
Microsoft help line number (from UK) 03448002400 is ringing out with no voice response.
