I am using Win XP sp3 and I have set Google Chrome as my default browser.  Additionally, I am using Windows Live Mail under the DropMyRights utility. However, when I click on a link in an e-mail the last default browser (either IE8 or Firefox) opens and not Chrome.  If I use Windows Live Mail without DropMyRights it works fine.  I also tested Microsoft Office Outlook (2007) under DropMyRights and it works fine, too.  I tried reinstalling Chrome, but this did not solve the problem.  Perhaps this is problem with Chrome interacting with DropMyRights?  If I run Chrome under DropMyRights it always shows a popup box that tells me that Chrome is not the default browser and I cannot change it to the default under the settings in Chrome.  If I open Chrome without DropMyRights it shows as being the default browser under settings.  I have searched for anyone else that has observed this behavior, but my searches have not produced anything useful.  Any suggestions?
