I think its Outlook, but there's no way to tell on and MSFT website.

Default Program Choices are: Microsoft Office Outlook, Windows Live Mail.

I've been using Hotmail with no problems. Now it's called Outlook but seems to work the same.

But Outlook and Hotmail are not Default email Programs.

I have a shortcut for Outlook on my desktop, and that takes me directly to Outlook and Hotmail with no problem.

I have Windows Live Mail in my Start menu, but it has never worked, I always get the same Error: Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (wgander1) account.

Server Error: 0x80048849

Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849

This is followed by: Windows Live Mail is synchronizing this account. Check back in a few minutes to read your messages.

I'm using Win7 Home Premium, IE 10, Windows Security Essentials and they are all up to date.

I get the same server error whether I'm connected to my router by cable or wirelessly.
