As of yesterday I have been locked out of my account, for which no explanation has been offered.

 

I recently moved from Sydney Australia to Scotland, but have been using my account for 2 weeks with no problems.

 

Because I no longer use the Australian mobile (0450260976) listed as my contact number, I cannot receive a verification code there...I am also unable to access my former work email address (d*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) to receive a code there. If I'm able to PROVIDE the number used for text verification - 0450260976 then WHY can't a code be sent to my new number? It's ridiculous.

 

I have submitted several questionnaires and have included passwords, contacts and email subjects as requested, but STILL have been unable to access my account, which has now been blocked.

 

The suggestion is made that I fill in the questionnaire from a computer I use regularly...that computer is still in Australia, so I cannot

 

I feel VERY frustrated - not to mention cheated - here...these are MY vital contacts and information, and I have been refused access to them for no good reason that I can see. Some of the emails and contacts I need ASAP as they contain information pertaining to bank accounts and transactions which will incur a financial penalty if I do not make payments at once.

 

I'm writing this at the suggestion of the online security team...my case number is 1227945174...and I have called Microsoft support TWICE (at considerable expense) and have had to create a new account just to post this question.

 

I can provide any details (addresses, passport number) you may require...PLEASE CALL ME ASAP on either 0750 2334757 or 01436 676614.
