I too am having the same difficulty. It was working one, but now has a similar problem to Naomi's.  I do receive email but am unable to send from my outlook.com account. When I try to send the message is:

Cannot Send Email, The use name or password for SMTP:(my outlook account user name)@sm.tp.live.com is incorrect. Yet this is the user name I use to login to my account through my PC.

I have checked, reset and attempted correction after correction to no avail. Can you offer a solution?
