Please help! 

I don't remember all these issues with previous versions of Movie Maker.  I have ripped a CD into Media Player, as I cannot import the same music directly from ITunes (or any other songs from ITunes for that matter), unless it is in Itunes Media, and I can't seem to find a way to get them there either.   I have created a folder on my desktop and they don't show up there.  I am at my wits end and would really appreciate any guidance.  I haven't found an answer on the forums

I also feel that the new version is way more cumbersome that previous versions, you can't easily move pictures from one place to another--and when you are doing a long movie with hundreds of pictures it takes forever.  I also don't know why you can't merge songs like you used to be able to do in the older versions by "sliding the music bars" into one another to create the fade-ins.  I also don't like that the video is vertical, and not horizontal below the picture being shown.  Am I doing something wrong?

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
