Movie Maker ERROR 0x80004003

I started making an edited movie in WMM. I used MP4 files at first, and tried to save it as a WMV, but it gave an error saying it couldn't save. So I looked it up, and found out WMM could use MP4 files in a WMLP, but for a weird reason, NOT as a saved movie (WMV). So I converted all the files to WMV, and they worked perfectly. I moved the MP4 files to a new directory, and when I opened up Movie Maker again, it said all the files were missing, so I double-clicked on them and re-associated all the files with the WMV ones. Then, I tried saving it again as a WMV, and it stopped saving after a while. Now, it said the following error:

"Sorry, your movie can't be saved. Find any missing files or remove the unusable items from your project, and then try again. Error: 0x80004003”

I was SO FRUSTRATED! I closed the error message, and surprise - all the video files said they were corrupted. And they were NOT!!! What should I do?!?!

Running Windows 8 and MSN Premium. Cannot open e mail photo or wmv file attachments.

Switched from Vista to new computer running Windows 8.  Reloaded MSN Premium e mail.  If I receive an e mail with either a photograph as an attachment or a video WMV file and try to "open" it I get an error message from MSN Mail "The command failed to execute."   Strange though if I forward the e mail messages to my gmail account it will open either without any problems. HELP....
