Opened my PC today and WLM just sits on the starting screen and never opens the UEFI.
Very Strange problem! I can't print an email sent by a customer . I update or downgrade my wlm version,the problem exists still. Now I changed the os from windows 7 to windows xp, still bad luck. I can't print it even I changed the machine.
Only the email sent by this customer can't be printed.Other Email can be printed.
Anyone have good idea?thanks

A while back while on my mom's computer and using a website I somehow got my mom's email and my Hotmail account tangled together in Windows Live Mail. Every time she starts WLM now she gets a login screen with my Hotmail account on it. Nowhere in WLM can I find a reference to my Hotmail account. I tried deleting and reinstalling WLM and the problem is still there. I went looking thru the data directories and the registry and can't find where the reference to my Hotmail account is hidden. The other weird thing is that if you go to Calendar option it shows my Hotmail account on the calendar. How do I get WLM to stop knowing about my account?!!

Win7 (64-bit) – After WLM problems finally uninstalled WLE (includes WLM). On reinstall WLE will not complete installation.
Error: 0x80070643 meaning a firewall issue. Win firewall was ‘ON’ so tried install with it ‘OFF’ and again ‘ON’. No good same error.
So how to get a good install ?

I want to replace or possibly expand my IMAP interface of gmail with Outlook 2003 to use an Outlook.com account and/or Windows Live Mail as my primary internet email provider.
Background:
I am running Windows 7, and I am still on Outlook 2003 (why pay for an upgrade when it has what I need?), and I have been interfacing with gmail via IMAP, but recently I accidentally ran across WLM and I like the looks of it! I am less interested in replacing Outlook 2003 with my outlook.com account and/or WLM because I like to move personal/private emails into a private PST file from their origiinal cloud location.
All I could find in these forums was ways to move a PST file into WLM... maybe my search string wasn't exact enough?
For now, my "first step" is to replace/augment gmail with my new outlook.com account linked to Outlook 2003 on my laptop.
In the future:
Maybe, eventually, I would just move to WLM, although I would need a way to move selected emails to my laptop and out of the cloud. Or perhaps WLM actually allows local folders, just as Outlook does. (Clearly I need some experiments with WLM to make the transition.)
Also, I make extensive use of Outlook's calendar for events, meetings, and lots (and lots) of reminders, and I keep calendar history (or some items) in a separate PST on my laptop as well. Finally, I do depend a lot on Google Desktop Search that can look in PST data, and I doubt that GDS can chase off into the MSN site to look in WLM data (or is WLM data stored locally, just as with Outlook PST files?)...
Any help/suggestions/pointers, especially for the simple link (POP? IMAP?) between my Outlook.com and Outlook 2003 running on Win7, will be greatly appreciated!
Once again: ERROR messages, and outgoing mail is blocked--incoming uncertain!

But I also have Server Errors:"Incorrect username or password (#MBR1212)", and (lower down the screen "Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (****) account... Could not download new message from the IMAP server."
Perhaps an error is due to the (British BT) system--and I'll take it up with them. But my WLM has worked very well for months.

When I get to the “select fields” stage there is only one (non-specific) e-mail field available to tick and yet my Contacts contains two specific addresses, namely home e-mail and business e-mail. Does selecting this field mean that both e-mail addresses will be exported regardless? Or is this an inconsistency between the Contacts and the associated export facility?

A few weeks ago, after many years of downloading email to my laptop and organizing/saving some messages in sub-folders etc., suddenly SOME messages make it as far as Outlook but aren't downloaded to WLM!!?? (I've also tried ONLY opening WLM, or opening
it before I open IE or Chrome)
One particular type of mail. . .specifically, the incoming replies to my listings on KIJIJI, AND ALSO my subsequent replies to that person's personal email (so no longer via Kijiji, and cc'd to myself). . . just don't get to WLM where I have all my selling
files/categories etc nicely organized.
(I think there definitely are other some mails not getting past Outlook, but they aren't my prime concern right now and I can deal with them on Outlook)
This is REALLY making things difficult, as I have to constantly go back and forth cross referencing old emails. I've set up one file on outlook where i'm storing everything for the time being, but would really appreciate getting things back to what used
to be normal.
Please note I'm not very tech savvy. . . in fact researching this, I just figured out (I think) that when my mail is stored on my browser (so I can only see when I'm connected to internet) it's called Outlook, but when the same messages are downloaded
to my laptop (so I can access OFFline) it's called Windows Live Mail... IS that correct???...(there are other email programs/terms I don't understand at all!!!! Express? Sympatico mail? Bellmail? WTF!!!)
VERY tempting just to switch to google, yahoo or something else more straightforward!!!!!!!
