Emailing photos using Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011 does not work.

I used to be able to email jpg file type photos very easily using Windows Live Photo Gallery. Now, after I check the photo(s) I want to send, then click on "Email" in the upper right corner, I get the "attach" screen, but when I click on it, an Email box no longer appears like it used in the past. Nothing happens and there is no error message either. I am using Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011

WINDOWS LIVE PHOTO GALLERY CONTINUES TO SEND EMAILED PHOTOS OUT ON MY OLD EMAIL ADDRESS EVEN THOUGH MY PROFILE INFO HAS BEEN CHANGED AND ACCOUNT INFO SHOWS NEW EMAIL ADDRESS..  WHAT CAN BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS SHORT OF CANCELING MY ACCOUNT AND STARTING COMPLETELY OVER?

When opening windows live email it wouldn't open. I was also unable to open any other programme till I could close windows live mail, andf when I did close it the information posted below came up. The same also  occurred when trying to open Widows live photo gallery, but I am not sure if the same error message came up.. The only thing I had done prior to the problem occurring was to delay some more programmes on starup in Nortons.
