Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

It is receiving okay, but will not send Hotmail contacts.  If I type in the email address manually and do not select the hotmail contact offered, it will go through.  But this is not a workable solution.

I'm a paying Hotmail.com user who recently started using 8.1.  On Vista, windows live mail worked fine and I was able to send out 2,000 emails a day spread over 10 emails of 200 bcc recipients.  Now with a new computer using 8.1, windows live mail doesn't send the email to any bcc recipients?

I have spoken with Hotmail.com support who say my account is fine and shows that I am not even close to my sending limitations.  Therefore this must be a windows live mail issue.  Please advise how I can remove this limitation so I can start sending emails with bcc recipients.  I am not a spammer but use this email for work and send a weekly price sheet to various clients.

I presently use Vista Home Premium (2008) and the Windows Live Mail program associated with Vista. An older version of Office Professional Outlook contacts is on the hard drive but this has never interferred with Live Mail in the past...more for my reference than anything else. Recently when I try to forward an email that includes images or an email received from someone else, the email does not go through properly. The recipient gets a multi part email with a lot of gibberish. They often receive 20+ copies of the initial email BUT each contains a lot of letters and references to MIME multi parts but no message. I have sent the same email to my smart phone acct (same as my Live Mail acct on my computer) to "see" what the corrupt email looks like. I see the same issues, no images, and a lot of letters instead of the word copy.  My email text is set to HTML for send / receive messages. I've mad no changes to settings... is this a driver issue? If so, how do I correct what's "wrong". Thankyou.

If I use Windows live mail to reply to a message received from a specific address and send it via my Hotmail account I get the error below. If I reply to the message using Windows Live Mail but send it via my Gmail account it works. If I log on to the Hotmail account on outlook.com and reply to the message it works.

The problem seems to occur only when I use the combination of Windows Live Mail and Hotmail, and it has only happened with one specific address.

I've never been able to use Windows Live Mail and I especially need it when sending photos through google picasa as picasa puts me straight onto Windows Live Mail when I attempt to send photos.

Hi. A few weeks ago I started having problem sending email from Windows Live Mail.  I get

follwing error whenever, I have an email on my Outbox.  It doesn't look like problem is specific

to my hotmail address since if I delete the email that I try to send via my hotmail account and

draft new email and send it via gmail server, I encounter another error with different error

code.

So far, I've tried performing repair on the Windows Essencial installation and removing the

account from Window Live Mail and adding it back.  Could you let me know what I can try next?

Thanks,

Jinhwan

When sending an email or reply from one specific email address in my contacts it causes my Windows Live Mail to shut down.  When viewing this email font size is very tiny and hard to read.  I can receive and send fine from my Iphone and or thru soswebmail to this specific email address.  No problems with any other email addresses in WLM.  Any ideas?  Thx.

I am on Windows live Mail 2012 under Windows 8.1. The management of Contacts Categories in Live Mail 2011 worked beautifully but several things are different in Live Mail 2012. I can live/work-around some but my biggest problem is trying to  'update' a category list. When you call up the edit on the category, the current category names are no longer hi-lighted. Without this feature it makes it very difficult to update. If I have 500 contacts and I'm trying to update a category with 30 contacts it is very very difficult to do.  I am looking forward to a fix on this, a reversal to the Live Mail 2011 way, or an explanation on how the 2012 works.

I had sent an email to a company on April 30, 2013 that had two attachments containing a list of the vitamins that I am on. I thought that list of Vitamins was sent although I did not hear back from the company that I had emailed, I was not overly concerned. I went to that email and found that trhe attachments with my list had been removed. That list was important to me for medical reasons. This is what I found. Prohibited file type and the attachments were considered dangerous. ???? I need that list and I was not notified . Why would any of this happen? What is dangerous about vitamins? Please help me ascertain what is going on. I am not sure that Windows Live Mail is safe after this.. I am sick about it.

1. I have contacts in my Windows Live Mail program on my laptop that are different than the contact list on the people.live people list.  I think this is because I did not sign in to Windows Live when I used the Windows Live program on my laptop.  If I now sign in when I start Windows Live, will the contacts on my computer erase or override the contacts online or the otehr way aroung do do they get combined?  The online contact list is the list I would like to use because it has some names that are not on the list on my computer.

2.  The online contact list has many duplicate names.  What causes names to duplicate?

thanks,
