tried all your solutions and none work !!!

If I go to hotmail on my browser , no problems ....

just windows live mail has those issues and only with this one account !

Windows Live Mail Not Opening

I have Windows Live Mail 2012 version 16.4.3505 installed on my hp Pavilion desktop running Windows 7.  I have been using Windows Live Mail on this pc for more than a year with no problems. Beginning early February 2014,  when I click on the mail icon, the screen comes up that says Window Live Mail with a circle going round and round that says starting by it.  It never opens though.  I’ve taken multiple actions to include restoring to an earlier point and removing and reinstalling Windows Essentials including Windows Live Mail and all the other apps to no avail.  I’ve reviewed forum posts and haven’t seen any solutions; discussion yes but no solution. Thoughts, recommendations and suggestions welcomed.

I run windows 8.1 and updated the Microsoft essentials update only to find that it had deleted/removed windows live mail from my desktop/computer. I use live mail as my main mail program and want to know why this update is doing this, I have had to restore my system to get live mail back and now have to refuse the update until I can work out what is going on.

How to export catalogs/groups one at a time from windows live mail

I have several hundred contacts organised in catalogs (groups) - but when I try to export one of these catalogs (groups) - every contact in my archive is also copied!

That's not any help when the sorting work is already done!!!

Anybody have a good method for exporting catalogs (groups) one at a time?

Windows Live Mail error ID Ox80048820 My e mail opens but this error message pops up and says it cannot send or receive any messages.

I have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it! 

HELP!! I don't know very much about computers.  I looked at some of the other questions but none of them had this error message number.

UNDERSTAND FIRST I AM OLD AND NOT MUCH OF A COMPUTER PERSON.

I HAVE A NEW DESKTOP USING WINDOWS 8.1 AND BOUGHT A COMFORT 5000 KEYBOARD.

I DECIDED TO SET UP A MACRO, SOMETHING I HAVE NOT DONE FOR MANY YEARS.  THIS IS THE ALT 0176 TO GET THE DEGREE SIGN SINCE I HAVE BEEN USING IT A LOT THIS WINTER IN MY E-MAILS.   I AM USING WINDOWS LIVE MAIL.

SO FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS SIMPLE THING WITH NO LUCK.  I THINK I AM JUST CAUGHT UP INTO DOING THE SAME WRONG THING TIME AFTER TIME.  I READ THE HELP AND IT TELLS ME HOW TO SET UP THE MACRO WHICH I HAVE BUT I CANNOT SEEM TO HOOK IT ON TO A KEY.   

I TRIED THE PROGRAMABLE KEYS BUT IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE .MHM FILE THE KEYBOARD SETS UP.   THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY TO PICK A KEY BUT IT COULD BE I AM MAKING MY MISTAKE RIGHT OFF PICKING A KEY.   ANY IDEAS OR HELP FOR SIMPLE MARCO FOR IDIOTS QUESTION.

Internet Security Warning

I operate Windows 8.1 and I recently downloaded Windows Live Mail. Every time I open it there is an 'Internet Security Warning' telling me that 'The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value'. After clicking 'OK' the programme works fine. How do I get rid of the warning message every time I open my mail?

My Windows Live Mail is resending sent mails over and over again, every minute, on my laptop. My OS is Windows Vista. i have pages after pages of the same mail being sent out every minute. its very annoying for me as well as the receiver. I do not see the Outbox either, so i could go and check if these mails are stuck there for some reason. HELP !!!!!! What do i do???
