Missing storage folders in Windows Live Mail

I am used to Outlook Express and it wasn't confusing.  This is confusing as most days strange things occur.  Today, I went to delete a folder marked delete as I already had a delete folder and in deleting it , deleted all of my very important folders which had been under "import" I think as I had moved them initially from outlook express.  They are not under the remaining delete folder nor are they in my recycle bin.  Where are they?  I looked under view, did compact view etc, did not retrieve the folders.  Where are they?  These were all VERY important folders. 

I don't think Windows Live Mail is a good product.  I need help in finding my folders, that is not too complicated.  Please help me.

Windows Live Mail

In the last couple of days my Live Mail tries to receive my email from Shaw but gets "stuck".  Nothing happens.  I have notification an update is available.  I give permission for Windows to access my computer to install update.  Nothing happens.  I have tried to repair Windows Live Mail .  Informed repair successful.  Problem continues.  I have Windows 8.1   Now I can't do a normal shut down as the Windows Live App is still running so I just "shut down anyway"  This is a real aggravation as the mail app that comes with Windows 8.1 is incompatible with Shaw for displaying attachments and now I can't get email at all unless I use Web Mail 

Switching from Microsoft Outlook 2007 to Windows Live Mail

I want to migrate from MS Outlook 2007 to WLM 2012. I have done the imap for gmail account for the inbox items. But could not get the sent items from gmail or outlook. How can I transfer the sent items in Microsoft Outlook 2007 to Windows Live Mail 2012 on the same computer with Windows7?

I have been using Windows Live Mail together with my SBC Global DSL account. SBC Global (now AT&T) uses Yahoo as the email provider for their account holders. Originally I set up Live Mail to receive emails from my SBC account as well as my Gmail account. Also, I have another address which is forwarded to my SBC account.  I did not have a problem with this setup for the better part of five years but last week due to some changes that Yahoo instituted some of my emails were getting lost in the forwarding process. This is not acceptable as this is work related. As I do not like the thought of changing my ISP I changed the "forward to" address on the business related account from "address @ sbcglobal.net" to "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***". Everything works well except now I'm getting two emails in my inbox and I can't figure out a way to get rid of the duplicate. Thanx for your help

Block Sender not working for Windows Live mail

I have Windows XP on my desk top and use Outlook Express 6 ( which I love) . In Outlook Express 6 ,  I've added certain email accts. to my Blocked Senders List. ( tools, message rules, blocked senders list) . when I receive emails from these accts they go into my "Delete " messages , which is where I want them to go . This is just the way I want these emails from the accts to be set up .

On Windows Live Mail , which I have on my laptop , I've put these same emails address on my Blocked Senders list ( options, safety options , blocked senders )  and it doesn't work ,  I still get  the  emails in my normal emails .  Since this didn't work  I also put them   on  Nortons  360  premier  ( settings ,anti-spam , blocked list ) but they still come to my normal email  with ( Norton Anti-Spam ) before the Email Subject ) ,  NOT to my  Junk  email  or  my  Delete Email  ( as  in  Outlook Express 6 ) .   Help

Windows Live Mail 2012 & Outlook.com, Live, and Hotmail accounts

I just got a new computer running Windows 8.1 and of course after TRYING to get my Live Mail accounts into Outlook 2010 and failing I then downloaded Windows Live Mail 2012. 

I can't my accounts to come consistently as POP3 accounts, using pop3.live.com, smtp.live.com, outgoing as 25 OR 587,  incoming 995.  All the settings were set up the way Outlook.com says to do it. 

I even enabled the POP3 access.

First I would RATHER download all the accounts we have using Live Mail 2012 with the Delta Sync server settings so we all have our folders intact. 

Some of the accounts have this:

Other accounts have this:

https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx

I have seen other POP settings stating other server settings too.

How the heck can you set up the Windows Live Mail 2012 to grab your Hotmail, live mail, and Outlook.com email addresses into the Email Program Microsoft has designed.

Just installed latest windows live essentials 2012 update.  Now windows live mail won't connect with Comcast servers.  What's changed?  Do I need to use different ports? different account settings?

Emails have stopped arriving via Windows Live Mail

I  have 2 email accounts attached to windows live mail. (hotmail and Iinet) One of the email accounts Iinet -  I use totally for my Facebook game (Farmville). I should be receiving messages on a daily basis regularly.

For the past 24 hours not a thing and 2 days prior to that - they were arriving 20 hours after being sent which is totally unacceptable.

I have been with windows live mail for ages with never a problem. Cant find anywhere to get some live support or assistance.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem or have any answers ?????
