Running Windows 7.   Using Windows Live Mail for my e-mail.  If I put an event in the calendar shouldn't it automatically show up on that day in my e-mail as a reminder?  How do I get this to happen?

Thank you.

Sandee

For the past two days and intermittently last week i have been recieiving this message when i try to access my e-mail, My messenger works fine and tells me i have new mail and when i try to open my hotmail through windows live mail i get the following error message,

Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

Now i have checked my memory useage as suggested on one of your previous pages and it seems to be fine and as well my other non hotmail e-mail accounts still work perfectly. I have also done a complete system care sweep which includes a registry clean up as well as deleting the temp internet files, fixing shortcut errors and many other functions to keep my computer running smooth and clean.  ( i use advanced system care 5 ) I have also tried rebooting my computer as well and the same problem still persists.

Since my hotmail seems to not be working at this point in time. If you could send a copy of your reply to my alternate address of (removed for security reasons) it would be appreciated so i can see what the problem is and or if the problem is with my machine or the server or on the internet itself.

Thank you for your time and effort in helping with this problem.

One hotmail/live account stopped working this morning. Been trying to regain access but unable. My account on Hotmail is functioning without problem, the one my wife uses gives the following error message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (name of user) account. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

Server Error: 0x80072EFF

Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFF

No indication of a problem I can find in the support areas.

I tried to access her account on my computer where my Hotmail account works but I receive the same error as with her system. Problem is not computer related.

I have made no changes to my computer, yet my Incredimail account sends and receives just find, as do my gmail and yahoo accounts. Windows Live mail no longer will receive any mail.
When I try to login into my Hotmail account, all I get is a blank page with "The service is unavailable" written on it. With Windows Live Mail, I also get an error stating I cannot send nor receive mail from my account (see below). When I tried to login with Outlook (online), it worked for my account, but when I tried changing into Hotmail, it didn't work (blank page). I did not update to Outlook, just went to Outlook.com. I know I wrote the right password, and even changed it just to try with a new one, but it still didn't work. What's wrong? Is it my email that has a problem/been hacked or banned, or is it a problem related with Microsoft? I'm going to try logging in again tomorrow, but I would like to hear if anyone else has gotten this problem before.

The error on Window Live Mail is as follows:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (glowdie711) account.

Server Error: 0x80072EFE
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFE

Can't get new mail to Windows Live Mail. I get error 0x80072EFF - how do I solve it? As I can't get mail in Hotmail please send me a reply to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I'm getting this message when I try to sign in to my hotmail account online "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Hotmail right now". I'm also having problems downloading any email from this account in my Windows Live Mail on both of my computers. The error I'm getting in windows live mail is

Server Error: 5102
Server "https:mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Synx.aspx"
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE2003

I'm not having any problem accessing my other outlook account. From what I can see I'm not the only one that's had this problem in the past. I haven't changed anything and my antiviris is Microsoft Essentials.

One more problem is I am also having problems accessing my outlook offline with my tablet as well.

Latest update. I can now access my outlook account online but can't through windows live mail

now I get a error message that the service is not available. Is there a problem with the system?

I can now access my account online but I'm getting the same error message in Windows Live Mail on my computer. I deleated the account, recreated it and still get the same error message as above.

I can sign into my SkyDrive and MSN I did recieve an email on my Windows Live Mail that didn't download right. That's why I was trying to go online and access it from there. If this email is what's causing the problem I would delete it there but as you can tell I can't access my account online.

I can now access my Outlook online but can't download it into my Windows Live Mail. I'm getting the same error message. I deleted the account, recreated it and still can't access it through WLM. I'm also having the same problem accessing it on my tablet and other computer as well.

 issue in Windows Live Mail

Hello ... I know of 4 Windows 7 computers running Windows Live Mail 2011 that all have the same problem. There is no option to turn Auto complete on and off . On 3 of the computers (one of which is mine) when you start to type in the address the Auto complete will bring up the addresses that start with whatever letters you type. On one Auto complete is not working at all. On all 4 when you go to tools/options/mail/send there is No option to check Auto complete on and off. 3 of the computers have been running Live Mail for quit sometime but the one that it is not working on is a brand new computer with a brand new Win7 Pro COA and a new install of Windows Live Mail via Windows Essentials. I found this post from Jan 2012 to be of no help ... http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-networking/how-do-i-disable-autocomplete-in-windows-live-mail/8753a3b2-5aad-4069-be5e-77e6d8b9ba4a?msgId=4f8b25ea-bf82-489b-9e23-e903df51fdbc . On 02/06/2012 it was BlownOff/ Answered by Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] . I found nothing about it on the ... All WIndows Live Mail questions belong here: http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=15 page after searching everything I could think of. I am not the only one with this problem. I called 1 800 936 5700 and Microsoft has a fix, but only if I pay them $99.00 will they give it to me. This is a Live Mail problem and no one should have to pay for the fix. The problem has been around for sometime but the Jan 2012 Question was blown off and not answered because it was posted in the wrong place. I will wait and see if the fix comes in response to this question. What happened to the Auto complete option in Windows Live mail ? If the answer can not be found here what answer would I be charged $99.00 for ?   If this question is in the wrong place I would like to know where it is supposed to go as I got here from the Windows Essentials Help page.

The same question from Jan. 2012 was also blown off from here too http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/answers?tId=8753a3b2-5aad-4069-be5e-77e6d8b9ba4a
