This is the current scenario:-

The person has several different e-mail addresses, Gmail, Hotmail and BTInternet.  Currently messages come into Windows Live Mail 2012 which is running under Wndows 8.  Message Rules have been written in WLM to direct incoming e-mails into some newly created inboxes.  This works after a fashion, but person has decided to now use OUTLOOK.COM so my questions are as follows:-

1.  Can OUTLOOK.COM be setup to provide the same inboxes as under WLM?

2.  Can mail from BTInternet, Gmail, etc., etc., be directed into the appropriate boxes?

3.  Does OUTLOOK.COM have facilities for writing Message Rules, and are they on similar lines to WLM?

4.  Can outgoing messages show the appropriate 'from' e-mail address, or will they all show the same originating address?

I have Windows Live Mail 2012, Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205) installed on my computer. I also use Windows 7 operating system. I have set up a new category folder under contacts and have placed 48 addresses in this category folder. When I want to send mail to the 48 addresses, I put the group mail category in the Bcc:  field and my own address in the To: field.

When I try to send the message, the 48 addresses do not send. Is there a limit on how many addresses you can put in a category? I tried a new category with just a few addresses and it works.

I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 as my desktop e-mail client.  However, messages received are much too small to read.  Is there any way to increase the font size of the text?
since friday night, when it just stopped, i can SEND mails from windows live mail, but cannot receive.   i get this error message:

Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

this happened recently a lot overseas, and it was a server MICROSOFT issue, NOT my computer....  any views out there?

Several days ago Windows Live Mail started asking for the password when I start the session. Well,  I give the password and click on "Remember password". The session starts, I edit the account, give there the password, and click there also on "Remember password". However, when I start Mail again I am asked to give the password again. Previously I just clicked on Windows Live Mail and got into session without being asked for password.

I tried to change password, but Windows Live Mail did not accept the change.

Thanks in advance for the support.

Windows Live Mail not synchronising with Outlook.com since 1am on 4-Oct.  Before this it was working fine.  Nothing has changed on my system - so I assume it’s a Microsoft server problem.  Any comments?

The message I get is:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Outlook (tom.samodol) account.

Server Error: 5102

Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

I can access the account via a browser. I am using Windows 7.

Up until three days ago I had Windows Live Mail with both my Comcast.net and Hotmail.com accts. No problems. Then my Hotmail acct quit receiving mail.  The calendar "uploading" message kept flashing down in bottom right. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Got this " Synchronizing please wait message." For two days. Then I totally uninstalled and reinstalled. All came back the same. Comcast fine. Hotmail "Synchronizing, please wait." Now what?

My Windows Live Mail has recently began not sending e-mails stating I have too many recipients. Up until now I have been able to e-mail about 99 recipients at anyone time but now it appears to be limited to about 50. Any suggestions?
