noticed this morning I couldn't check email on phone, said "cannot get mail, the username or password for "Hotmail" is incorrect"
when I went into settings in my iphone and made sure it was correct it didn't help
so I went to try to do the same thing on my pc and no joy, ive tried going to view it on a web page via outlook but it says theres a problem with outlook at the moment
I have tried logging in via windows live mail and I get the following error
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account.
Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003
is this a fault with the servers being down etc (I googled server status and it says its fine) or something I can fix?
Original title: Windows Live Mail
I have installed windows live mail and have loaded email from 3 different email accounts. During my initial usage of this system everything was working fine. Then something happened so that I could not load anymore email message into my live email system. Every time I selected the send/receive button the mail would be permanently removed from the email servers that I had set up but would not show up on my live email system. Where did they go? How do I fix this?
This morning (11 October 2013) when I tried to create a new message using Windows Live Mail a small window appeared saying:-
A problem occurred while trying to open this message.
A problem has occurred. Please try again.
If I try to forward a received email the same message appears.
To send an email I have to log on to my BT Yahoo home page and send it from there, but this means that I do not have a copy on my computer.
I use Windows Ultimate 64-bit.
