I recently had to recover my laptop. As it came back with the original Vista OS and I had to again upgrade to Windows 7.

Now I can't open Windows Live Mail. I have a icon on my taskbar and when I click it I get the Windows Live Mail pane on my desktop but nothing happens.

Strangely, when I was checking my mail via the web, a random dialogue box appeared with the option to open Windows Live Mail, I clicked and it opened however that was a one off!

I hope someone can help.

Many thanks

I have a new tablet running a full version of windows 8 and have installed windows live mail 2012.  I can't get hyperlinks to work in the signatures. We found instructions for WLM 2011, but those don't work. Can you please give step-by-step instructions for how to get websites and email addresses to be live hyperlinks.
Thanks

Keith

I was alerted that I SHOULD have received an urgent email at 12:10 pm today because someone else replied to all in response to that email..  It is NOT on my Windows Live Mail "in Box" message list  It IS on the webmail browser.  I CAN find it by doing a "from" search.  It SHOWS as being in my "In Box".  I closed and reopened my Windows Live Mail.  Still invisible.

I have Windows 7 and have been using Windows Live Mail for 2 years with no issues. When I try to open it, I get an error saying Windows Live Mail 2011 has stopped working. I use this email for work and have tons of emails I need. I went to the Control panel and did the repair Windows Essentials, but still the same issue. I can go to another user profile and it does seem to work. Please help.

All of a sudden my Windows Live Mail has started to present me with a box requiring me to: “Please enter your user name and password for the following server.” I did this and clicked OK but the box just comes back and I am unable to either send or receive E-Mails so what can I do to get rid of this “Logon”?

This is driving me crazy. I'll try to explain my best.

Yesterday I installed WLM 2012. Made my email account, everything was fine.
Until the next day.

In the next day I logged in into WLM and I wanted to send a e-mail to a friend.
When clicking on the "New message" button this error showed up:
"A problem occurred when trying to open this message.
A problem has occurred. Please try again."

I did repair it and then it worked. After a day logged into WLM again and the same error comes up.
WHAT Is going on? I have Windows 7 x86 HP SP1. And I ran a virus scan with avast!, Malware Bytes and cleaned up my PC with ASC 7. After doing all that still the same error..

Help me! Or at least make a Mr. Fix It for this! :(

Well, It's thunderbird for now...

Hello.
I am no longer able to paste a hyperlinked text, in Windows Live Mail when composing a new message, from Firefox. This works with no issues on Thunderbird.
Any help?
Thanks
