iis.net / windows live id (can’t sign in, to iis.net forums)

Hi, no idea where else to "get help for this", so, maybe, here, someone has any idea where I can ask, or maybe, an "MVP" can, possibly, help.

 

I have a windows live id, and, have, also, associated it with a iis.net "forums" account.

 

I had used this "windows id", to go into the iis.net forums, previously, and it had been working.

 

Now, today, I would like to go back into the iis forum, using the windows live id (i.e., go to iis.net->sign in->"sign in using windows live). It asks me for the email-pw combo, after entering it, it asks

 

"Let this app access your info?

staging-login.iis.net
Azure Live needs your permission to:
View your profile info and contact list
Azure Live will be able to see your profile info, including your name, gender, display picture, contacts, and friends.
Access your email addresses
Azure Live will be able to see the email addresses in your profile.

Click yes, and, I, unfortunately, as of today, always get:
 
"
There's a temporary problem

There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."

 

This has happened, today, with several of the windows live ids I have, and since this morning.

 

This does not seem to happen to all users, as, there are still active topics, with posts from within the last seconds, minutes, hours, etc, in the forum.

 

iis.net says, it is "managed for Microsoft" by "Neudesic, LLC.", so, as it does seem, that this is not absolutely necessiraly a windos live issue (all other windows live services, associated with these accounts, e.g. email, msdn, etc. work, as, expected), so I did contact them, by email,. however, I have gotten no response, and, their online-"support" contact "form" was definitely more geared at high-cost sales, than, anything else.

 

SO, is anyone able to help me, or help me, get help??

Windows live id alias and own domain

Hi,

I'd like to set up and manage my own domain name with outlook.com.

But I'd like to know if my windows live id I'm using, that is also one of my own domain mail addresses, could be use to manage this domain with outlook.com

Ex.:

domain name : delgado-lucas.com
windows live: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

request for enable password reset option

Hello,

 

1.)

 

I'm administrator of domain " wonderfulww.com ".

 

I need the password reset option enabled for user account's password on Windows Live Admin Center.

 

Domain name: wonderfulww.com

 

 

2.)

 

Is it possible to enable my account to reset any account's password in any domains those under my control ( including future ) ?

 

I'm a Hosting Service provider. And then I offer free configuration service for my customer those want to use Windows Live E-mail with their domain.

 

The problem begin with I found some account is " Already exists in Windows Live " and I have to "Import" them without permission to reset password.

 

And most of customer already forgotten their Windows Live Id's password.

 

If it possiple to enable reset password option for my account with domain that I added in the future it will be grateful :D

I will be leaving my ISP Sympatico (Bell Canada) to a different ISP.  But I had originally setup my windows live id using my Sympatico email.  But when I go in my profile to change my primary aliase, I see this listed under the Sympatico aliase:

 

"Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias."

 

Does that mean I will not be able to change my Windows Live ID to a new email addres and will loose all my Skype contacts, and other Microsoft services information when Bell will shut my Sympatico email?

 

If I need to create a new Microsoft Account, how can I transfer all my Skype contacts and other services info?

Windows Live ID doesn’t exist

Hello :)

I've had an account with the liveid: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, I've uploaded loads of pictures and used it basically as a skydrive account.

Now, the problem is that the last time I logged into that account was last december (2012) and I've tried login in now but I keep gettting the message saying : 
Windows Live ID doesn't exist

I would gladly pay to get its content back, I dont care about the accounnt itself, but the pictures/albums are valuable to me :(
