I have two skydrive accounts and want to combine them into one

28. July 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Microsoft Partner account, test account, windows live account
I have two SkyDrive accounts; I got them by getting an account attached to my Windows Live account which is also linked to my Microsoft Partner account and my Messenger account. It was created with the 25GB limit during the trial period. Since then I created a test outlook.com account that has a 7GB SkyDrive attached to it. Is there some way to combine them into the one with the 25GB limit? Is this something I can do? The test account has a lot of pictures and other files that are shared with members of my family which I would like to keep. However, that account only has the 7.5GB limit and the other has the larger 25GB limit but I would also like to keep the new email address I created in the test account and use it to replace the address on the other account.

Windows Live Age Verification Error “Microsoft Account is Experiencing Technical Issues”

27. July 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Age Verification, Microsoft account, windows live account

I have tried repeatedly to complete the Age Verification for my son's windows live account. Everytime I go through the entire process of entering my credit card info and each time I get the same error stating We're Unable to Process Your Request -  Microsoft Account is Experiencing Technical Issues. I went online and sent a support request and got a generic reply with the below message. Of course this link merely takes you to the forum.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered in trying to complete the age verification process. To further assist you in getting an accurate resolution to this issue, We need to direct you to www.answers.microsoft.com where you will be given a step by step direction by a Moderator."

Can someone please assist with setting this up??? I have a new laptop for my son that he can't do anything on because he can't login to his Windows Live account - no email, no games. And so far....no support. Any advice would be helpful.

how can I find out what IP addresses have been used to log into my windows live account?

Hi - I think someone broke into my Windows Live (i.e. Hotmail) account two days ago.  Just after a phone conversation about certain historic family topics, the next time I logged into my account, a number of old emails (some dating back 1.5 years) relating to the topic had been flagged in my email list.  This seems suspicious, and I would like to find out a list of what IP addresses were the source of logins to my account on that day.  Is there any way of obtaining this information (either myself or through Microsoft)?

Thank you,

Jim

Hey, today my facebook account was hacked- and then subsequently, so was my windows live account. When trying to recover my account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), it asks me to complete a form explaining all the cridentials I entered when I created the account. However, upon submitting this form it tells me that what I have provided is insufficient evidence that the account is mine. I really dont know what to do and without this email, LOTS OF MONEY WILL HAVE GONE DOWN THE DRAIN- PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!

How do I change the settings on my PC email to ‘imap’ instead of POP3?

20. May 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: livemail · Tags: IMAP, windows live account, Windows Phone

I have a Windows phone & Windows 7 on the PC with a Windows live 2011 email.

My son has the Windows Live account linked to his Xbox, & therefore to his Windows phone & FB account, but I want to keep his emails separate from my emails.  I also want my emails on my Windows phone.

I have been advised by my broadband provider to set up a new Window Live account & then change the settings to 'imap'.  I now have 2 Windows Live accounts.  I have (I think) copied the contacts from the old live to the new one, but how do I change the setting to 'imap' & then how do I go about using the new Live account to receive emails from the old email address?   So confused.  (I have already set as 'imap' on my phone - that bit seemed easy by comparison.)

Windows Live Mail. I am unable to return to working online.

15. March 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: livemail · Tags: windows live account, Windows Live Mail
Hi guys,
I needed to work offline for a while with regard to my Windows Live account, but find that the simple icon click to return online does not work. An error message appears, which, off course, prevents me from reading or sending my emails. I am signed in to the account, and my web browser is operative.
Sombodys' help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
