After installing Windows Essentials 2012, I cannot accept the license agreement, no matter how many times I click "accept", nothing happens.
Possibly related: Also when I install Office on this particular computer, the installer itself breaks.
Movie Maker in particular gives me Error 80070005.
I use Windows Live Mail for my emails. My system is Windows 8.1 and I am trying to set up a new account as an addition to the live mail account that I already use.
I have followed the instructions given in Windows Essentials _ Mail and, when complete, it tells me that the account has been set up.
My new account appears in the list on the left hand side of the screen, with the others, but without inbox/outbox etc, When I try to call down any emails, I am repeatedly asked for the password and cannot get any further.
How do I fix this?
I made a movie 'project' using the 2011 version of Windows Live Movie Maker, then when I upgraded to Windows Essentials, Movie Maker - I cannot copy splits that I created in this movie... In the old version of WL Movie Maker, I could put the start point
and end point, copy that clip and create a new movie of that clip - this way I could create the separate videos for each of the typed questions that I need for Survey Monkey.
How can I do the same thing in the new version of Movie Maker?
I down loaded movie maker three times. When I check my downloads all I see is wlset-web. I click on the link and a box appears asking if approve of making changes to my pc. I click yes and nothing happens. I've tried everything to locate windows essentials
and movie maker on my pc, can't locate them anywhere..
Why is it so difficult to locate?
Whilst organising and deleteing mails from my Windows LiveMail account, the programme stopped and restarted. Upon re-start all the deleted/moved mails appeared back in the inbox. When I try to delete them I get the 'unknown error' message. I've tried to
run a repair on Windows Essentials but this does not fix the problem.
After loading Windows Essentials, Windows Live Mail will not launch. It get stuck on the "Windows Live Mail 2012 - Starting" screen. However if I go to Windows Live Mail in the "Start" menu, and select New Email, the window for the email creation opens
properly. This applies to all specific Live Mail functions as well as all other Essentials applications. Any suggestions?
Dear all, I wish to seek help and answer from Microsoft Community. I have downloaded Windows Essentials 2012 from Microsoft's website. However, it does not work after installing. A notification saying that "Click 'close' to start Windows Essentials". However,

I just downloaded Windows Essentials and started using Live mail. Received a good email from a gmail account that went to quick view but not to the email account I had set up ? Can I get some help on resolving this problem and/or is it related to gmail?
Hi everyone. I have a sony Vaio with windows 7 and I Recently recieved and update for windows essentials. I dont know if i had essentilss 11 or 12 but it updated and now movie make wont start. Whenever I open it, it says my laptop doesnt meet the minimum requirements and that it can't start. I updated all the software and everytihng meets the requirements and it still wont open. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a big project I was working on and i need help. thank you.
