Cannot delete msn.com emails after “resolution” of error 0x800488EB

My msn.com email is finally roilling in after 6 days of having Synchronization error 0x800488EB, which we have been discussing on this forum at length.  However, a new wrinkle has appeared.  I cannot delete any unwanted emails from this account.  Is that problem related to the error message or is this something new?  Please advise.

I would like help from Microsoft for this error: Synchronization error 0x800488EB

I have removed my account from Windows Live 2012 and tried to add it again, but it won't add unless I change it to a pop server, which then does not show or sync my folders... TOTALLY FRUSTRATED!!!
