My home Dell computer has Windows XP and IE8. SInce Microsoft transferred all Hotmail accounts into Outlook, I have a problem printing emails. Regardless of the length of the message, I get only a single page or printout, truncated at the bottom. Also, the message content is cur off at the right edge. It seems as if the sidebars in the Outlook email window are affecting print area. Are there some settings I have to change to clear this up?

Hi.

I'm trying to find a solution in quite specific printing problem. In our company it is highly required for the sake of invoicing (making bills) to be able to print all sent and received emails to keep track on how many and what kind of mails has been sent to client and what they have sent to us in three-month periods.

In Windows Outlook we can print all wanted mail headlines just by selecting them and clicking "print", and choosing whether they are to be printed in horizontal or landscape way. In Mac version however, this is not possible, at least not in the same way as in Windows version. When I choose all wanted message headlines and click on "print", it prints all selected mails as a whole, not just the headlines as a list. Sure we are able to print those lists on the Windows PC, but it would be nice to be able to do the same task on any of our office computers whether they are Mac or PC.

Is there some way to get around this problem? Can I somehow print just the headlines (with, of course, sender name and time and date) as I can in the Windows Outlook?

I don't think this option is dependable on what printer we are using, since we have multiple printers of various manufacturers in our office and this kind of printing does not seem possible on any of those printers or at least none of them have such a selection in printing preferences.
