Ever since I was upgraded to Outlook from Hotmail I have been having problems with my computer.  When sending an email the "sending" icon just keeps going around and around and around so that I don't know if my message has been sent or not so I just click back on "Outlook" and continue, hoping that my recipient has received the message.  Also, if I have an attachment, Outlook doesn't allow me to include it in my message which is an integral part of my business.  Needless to say, I am not happy with Outlook and want to change to a server who will allow me to continue as usual.  So, I was told that, if I change to Foxfire, I would be able to use my Hotmail address so that my clients will be able to find me without me having to make changes.  However, Foxfire has not allowed me to do that.  I need to keep my email address and I would stay with Outlook if this problem of 'sending' and 'attachments' was resolved.  Please help me.  I have gone to Microsoft and they say I am full of viruses and it would cost me $250 to resolve those issues.  I don't have $250 extra in my finances because I need to pay bills.  What is going on with Outlook?
On Outlook 2011 For Mac on creating an email, as normal, the Autofill/ Auto complete for To: or CC: fields no longer pop down like it used to. They now flicker /flash for a split second. The exact same applies on a website when completing an online form. Seems a virus or something. Lastly I can no longer highlight on Word too with my mouse. I must do it manually (shift arrow)

I am using Mountain lion latest, and outlook 2011 latest.

Any help is really appreciated. Now takes me long time to try and find recipients in my sent folder, I have to copy paste their email address, etc etc. Crazy. Please help? Thank you
Hi,
my e-mail so extremely slow that it often takes several minutes! to open and send  e-mails and even refreshing outlook and sometimes I can't send or open e-mails at all and refreshing just gets me to a white blank page. This happens every single day!!!!! Does anyone know what this is? thanks!

Both my Hotmail/Outlook accounts are very slow and most of the time I am unable to access them since upgrade to Outlook.

Does anyone know why this is the case and what is being done about it?

Richard

Both Microsoft and Apple have told me they are waiting for the other to fix the issue with Syncing the Outlook Calendar via iTunes to an iphone - which seems to be no longer possible using Mountain Lion. has anyone found a work-a-round for this? Thanks.

I have outlook running through exchange company and now have office 2011 home edition i want to install but am worried it will over write my outlook with what comes with the office install.   when i first tried this it didn't work because i had some old files left over from a previous time.  When i uninstalled through the advise on this site i got the office to install properly but i noticed it had office which could be bought later.
But i then installed outlook from my exchanger company but this messed things up, so had to uninstall everything again.  As i need outlook now i re installed from my exchange company so i'm back to normal but now i'm worried it will over write outlook when i install office.

Can any one tell me if this is true or what i can do to get around this?
Outlook for Mac 2011 repeated comes up with error 5.2.3 Data size exceeds maximum permitted Error code 17099. This slows down the sending off emails. Also error 5.5.0 code 17092 for a few specific email addresses that Outlook says it are invalid.  These errors continue to accumulate every 3 minutes or so until deleted from the error message dialogue box.
I run an iMac with Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and use MS Office 2011 for Mac. I want to sync Outlook to iCal/Contacts but using the Outlook preferences Sync set up nothing happens in either iCal or Contacts. Does anyone have a solution for this? Apple have referred me to this site.

I have tried deactivating the Sync settings in Outlook and starting again but to no avail.

Really appreciate help on this.

Ken Davis.
