I have continued using my Hotmail through Microsoft Office 2010 Outlook on my computer and with sync to my Android Bionic.  I never responded to the Outlook.com changes.  I now receive annoying, frequent pop up messages on my computer to update or add a profile to my Outlook through my Windows control panel.  I also receive popup error messages on my smartphone.  The mail still comes through and works as it always did.  But, what do I do about the popup errors -- the profile on MS Outlook is correct.  Must I to pay attention to Outlook.com?  I don't understand the relationships.  Thanks

Hello, I have outlook on my computer and all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago, it stopped allowing me to send emails...I receive them fine, but it just stops working and shuts down the application when I try to send an email from outlook...plus, when I open outlook, the application indicates that it is disconnected...I have to force it to be connected...I don't know how to restore the program...can anyone help me...please.

I downloaded outlook onto Samsung galaxy s 3 . When signing in it is asking to truncate message at 1kb,5kb,10kb,25kb,50kb,and 100kb.

What is this truncate thing??? Never seen it before . As far as I can tell its asking to shrink email. What should I set it to?? And will info that is truncated be lost.??

I can't open Outlook.  Worked fine earlier today.  Getting a message that there seems to be a problem with Outlook but when I check status, it says it is running normally.
I restarted my Outlook 2010 Outlook.com account today and when I began I already had a data file present because when I shut it down a while back Outlook would not let me delete the remaining data file. Something about having a place to store messages. Anyway I created my Outlook.com account and now I have 2 data files, the original which is default and the new one which really doesn't have a file location and it says it is not available. This is a part of Outlook I am yet to understand. My default data file is the one where the messages are stored why is the other one even important. I went to delete the one that was just created and says not available next to it, but it brought up a box that says,"One or more of my accounts are delivering messages to this data file. If I close or move this data file, your accounts that deliver messages here are updated to deliver new messages to my default data file. Do I wish to continue?" I was going to click yes but I thought I would wait till I got an answer from someone in the know. Should I delete the data file that says not available or leave it?
Signing in to Outlook - When I put my email address in the sign-in box, it provides prompts for my email address.  How can I delete the prompts that were mistakes and that I don't want to appear?  They don't respond to the delete button and there is no right-click function.  Everytime I make a typing error, I get another prompt added.  Thank you
Just bought MS 365. Entered profile data to set up outlook. But when I go to log in the blue Outlook icon churns away saying 'loading profile'. then ends in an error message saying " The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Can't get into profile to reset even using admin. either

Any suggestions,

Brian.
MY website email has always been accessible via Outlook until recently.  It now will not connect, noting that there is an authorization problem with my web server and requests my server mail password. Repeated re-entries still fail. I have tried resetting my password on my web mail server, re-entering all of the relevant account details on Outlook, changing it from IMAP to POP etc., etc. but no joy.  I am using gmail now but still prefer the Outlook interface.  Looking forward to your comments...
