Sometimes, when I click on an incoming message, it disappears.

Second, when I try to retrieve a message that I have already read, it does not appear after an attempted search. I believe that Outlook simply sent it to Trash.

Third, my screen freezes up quite frequently when viewing my e-mail.

What's up with Outlook?!

I can’t close my Outlook account

I'd like to close my Outlook account but I'm having problems.
In order to close it, Outlook keeps giving me this message:

"You need to deactivate your Hotmail account. Once you've done that, your Microsoft account will be closed automatically after a period of inactivity."

But I can't find a way to deactivate it throught MSN website.
Please help me.

Outlook 2011 Mac “No item seleceted” while previewing attachments

Hi

Using Outlook 2011 on a Mac upgraded to Mavericks.

In an email I select Preview to preview an attachment. The preview comes up for a few seconds then closes with a black preview screen stating "No item selected. This used to work fine with Snow Leopard.

Can someone help?

Outlook Mac 2011 – Can’t Search Emails

Hi,

Since updating to OS X Mavericks on a Mac, I can't search through my emails or add tasks in Outlook 2011.

I read on a previous forum post that this can be resolved by dragging the Macintosh HD to the Spotlight Privacy folder in System Preferences, which will re-index the hard drive. I did this exactly as instructed, but it hasn't resolved the issue.

In addition, I have tried rebuilding the database using the Microsoft Database Utility, but this hasn't fixed the issue either.

Any ideas on what else I could try?

Synchronizing Issues in Outlook

My Outlook does not appear to be synchronizing correctly. When I open the Outlook program on my desktop in the morning it will say I do not have any new emails. After two or three hours it will populate with emails from the day before and that morning. When I check my online gmail account everything is working correctly, it just takes my Outlook program a few hours to synchronize. I called Google Enterprise Support and they referred me to you. This happened two weeks ago and Enterprise Support had me re-set up my outlook email. That worked for a week, but now it is back to lagging again. Please help!

Hello,

I am having a difficult time accessing my email account. It is a school account through FSCJ and I can't access it. Every time I go to Outlook 365 it tells me I have to go to Outlook and when I go to Outlook it tells me this is a 365 and I can't access it from there. I waited on hold with 4 different people for an hour and half just to be told that I have to ask online. I see on the bottom it says contact me when question is answered; I can't access my email so if you notify me by email I won't be able notified. I am very upset right now. Can I upgrade to mavericks if I use Outlook for managing my mail, calendar and contacts?

Hello,

I am considering upgrading to Mavericks but I hear that sync services between Outlook 2011 and iCal/iPhone are no longer active, since everyhting is managed via iCloud. is this true?

Is there any workaround or simply one cannot longer use Outlook 2011 and have her contact/appts synced with her phone if upgrades to Mavericks?

My Outlook.com account was blocked when I tried to send an e-mail last night (Oct. 27) , A message said Outlook had encountered unusual activity with my account. I was given a choice to Verify my login. I clicked Verify and a message said I would receive a code via my home phone number (an internet phone). The phone never rang. I tried a second time and the phone never rang again.

I just spent the last week changing my account mail addresses over to Outlook.com. Thus, the problem is a serious one for me. I hope I don't have to go through this process with some other e-mail account in the near future.

Can you help unblock my Outlook.com e-mail account?

I have to reinstall windows and when i go to do the email outlook keeps giving error msgs:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail',

Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server

Response: '', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12007, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

I just want to use outlook. Any ideas?

Outlook Repair

Every single time I turn on my computer, I am getting the message that Outlook needs to be repaired. Why is this? I usually do a quick fix, but then have to re-fix it the next time I turn on the computer. I did the whole fix one time, and it wiped out all of my microsoft products and I had to have them re-installed. Does anybody have a suggestion for fixing this? Thx.
