I just accidentally uninstalled Microsoft outlook from my new computer. I am not computer savvy and the windows 8 start thingy with apps is confusing to me.

How can I reinstall it without having to buy it (it came pre-installed on my computer).  Also, could this be the reason why when I try to make attachments to emails they never load. It just says loading forever .  Thanks

I am getting the spinning multicolor wheel periodically in Outlook 2011 since upgrading to Mavericks. I get a 5-second pause about once or twice a minute. There does not seem to be any specific action that causes it.
-Outlook version 14.3.8
-Account is Exchange. No other mail accounts are connected.
-MacBook Pro 16gb memory, i7 intel

So far I have:
  • Re-indexed the data storage file
  • Removed large amounts of email. Trash, Deleted Items, Junk mail. Archived old emails.
  • Tried using a different user profile
  • Removed and added the exchange account
  • Totally removed office 2011 and all related files and re-installed it.
Any ideas to resolved this issue?

when I open outlook, after a few seconds it states that internet explorer has stopped working . outlook shuts down then reopens seconds later ,then the whole thing starts over ie shuts down reopens  then shuts down again always in outlook not in any other program

the subject matter of the emails listed in the outlook.com  module of my home page have disappeared

since I down loaded 8.1.  I have tried all of the outlook settings without success.

I could sure use some help. THANKS

Outlook will not give me any sound notification of a new message. My samsung galaxy tablet used to do this with my origional Email while in standby mode IE- not closed down. I used to have a file called microsoft exchange but it became greyed out and now has gone? If this notification should work then i need a list of how to set this up.
regards, Don
I never used to have this problem with "Hotmail" but since the upgrade to Outlook, I've had a few people telling me (the other week) that they cannot send me emails because it bounced back. Firstly, I was not aware Outlook had a storage capacity, until then. Secondly, my Inbox has never been that full to begin with. Now I have to dedicate time into deleting emails and creating folders just so that I can keep important emails. Its ridiculous. I am hoping that they will amend this.
