All my emails from 24th November 09 to 18th September 12 have disappeared. I first thought I was dreaming, but no, they have vanished. I tried restoring deleted mail but this just restored junk mails. I have not made any changes to my account

i recently read a message that was sent to my account dated the 10th november 2012 claiming itself from msn stateing that they deactivating accounts to make space to new members and so they are asking for specific information as of the following:1) Name : 2) Date of Birth : 3) Your Email: 4) Username : 5) Password:
is this a con from another user or is this a legitimate e-mail becoaue when i selected reply the my computer said it didnt no the sender and it could possibly do me more harm then good?
