I have 225 GB of space available on Skydrive. I tried to upload my music files, total size 16.6 GB, to the Music folder. I got an error message that I required and additional 2.6 GB of space.

Is there a size limit to the Music folder on SkyDrive? If yes, how do I increase it? With 225 GB free space there should be plenty for my music files.

Hello,

Let me first say I totally am sold on SkyDrive.  Google couldn't handle my 2.7 mb file.  Can't recall the size limit but most of my documents are pretty large.  So I switched to SkyDrive...no problems.  Manually reset my Surface Pro (mea culpa) and all my setting and software were back in no time.

Now I've run into a problem.  I have 127 gigs (100g of which are purchased).  I have 125 gigs available but was unable to upload my music files (30g).  I tried copying the entire folder to the Sky Drive desktop app.  I got a return message that I needed 2.7 gigs more.  Can someone please give me some guidance on how to upload the music files?  Or why I'm getting this message.

I'm working on a Windows 7 Pro PC using the SkyDrive desktop app.

Thanks,

I used about 2 GB of my 7 free GB, uploading photo, document and music files to SkyDrive. This was a few days ago, and the last time I looked at the screen, the uploading was still in process. Today I checked and SkyDrive does not show any files uploaded by me.
I have built a six minute video with about 30 pictures, 20 video clips, and 2 music files.  I have tried to save the movie in several different formats including the recommended format and every time I get the exact same response:

"There are missing or unusable files in your Movie Maker project that are preventing your movie from being saved. Please check that file preparation is enabled in Options, or remove the files and try again"

Each time the message comes up, however, it references a different video file as being the source of the problem.

I am using Version 2012 Build 16.4.3505.0912

My video files are .MOV (From an iPhone and from a dSLR camera) and .MP4 (from a GoPro)

My photo files are .jpeg

My music files are .mp3

Please help!!!!!  Thank you
