I was having problems with windows live movie maker crashing so I updated all the updates related. then movie maker live disappeared from the start menu and was replaced by movie maker. which prompts a warning that my computer doesn't meet the requirements,
and to update drivers, which I did. now what?
please help!
I've used movie maker before with no real issues I couldn't figure out.
I have worked for hours and hours and hours, editing videos and setting them to music of my daughter's entire 1st year of life. I have saved the project, as I have gone in and edited 100's of times. but I'm finally done and want to save the movie and burn it onto a dvd. I went out and purchased dual layer dvd's because it's 2hrs 25min long. but I have tried to save it REPEATEDLY and it just keeps stopping at 38%. no error message or anything, just never goes past there. I'm about to lose my mind. what can I do? is there a way to burn it onto a dvd without saving it? I have tried saving it "recommended for this project" as well as to "burn cd or dvd". makes no difference. what can I do?????
this happens when i open windows movie maker....i haven't tried going any further for fear i'll screw it all up. please advise. thanks lisa
I try to start Photo Gallery or Movie maker and there is no way to get to the programs, I tied reinstalling them 3 times and uninstalling chrome several times also since it seems to be connected to the issue. tried installing real player to switch the
file associations but they still will not show up, every time I try to reinstall them they say they have installed successfully too quickly to have really installed. Just installed media player classic and VLC media player to try to force the Photo gallery
and movie maker to show so I can make them the defaults and it says the programs are not available. I use all of the adobe products and 3ds max and visual studio for work on this system. but all the sudden I can not open any pics or vids in the Microsoft photo
or video programs. I have to switch to an older OS on another SSD to do that now. If I could get this fixed on this OS(win 7 64 pro) it would save me a weeks worth of reinstalls. All of my working programs have been installed and are fine on this one. Just
the weird Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery and Movie maker glitch is keeping me from a full conversion. I also have all of office 2010 and many other programs. When I switch to the other os (also win 7 64 pro) on the other SSD all the Live Photo Gallery
and Movie maker programs work fine even with the full version of chrome running linked. All hard drives are the same other than the 180 SSD's OS's. Over 10 ter. rest of the system specs are listed below.
How do I set timer for movie maker to go all day? I am limited to 1 hr. Thank you.

When you put the caption in the movie, it's associated with the time line instead of the frame, therefore,
if you add a slide or two in the beginning of the movie, all the captions are no longer associated with the frames because
everything is bumped down by the extras, but the caption still stays at the same place on the timeline. I find this very inconvenient
because it is normal to have to stick in some extra pictures and videos when completing a movie....
Is there a way to put caption in, and tie it to the frame/picture rather than tied to the timeline?
I uploading all files I need to movie maker, completing my video, check it over - every think fine. Then start to save the movie and in the middle of the process, it stops and report me back that one file is missing or corrupted, error code 0×87260103
. When I try to do the video over again, can not upload that particular file, regardless that it still opens and plays perfectly. Forgot to tell that all the files was made with the same camera at the same time. I have laptop HP, Windows 8 and movie maker

I down loaded movie maker three times. When I check my downloads all I see is wlset-web. I click on the link and a box appears asking if approve of making changes to my pc. I click yes and nothing happens. I've tried everything to locate windows essentials
and movie maker on my pc, can't locate them anywhere..

Movie maker crashed while I was working on a project file, I neglected to save my work. I assume that Movie maker has some sort of document recovery? is there a temporary file folder where a previous version may have been auto saved? please help!
i was using movie maker live. Then I downloaded windows essential 2012 & I do not have the movie maker live but just Movie Maker.
Which is a better program? And Movie maker does not work just Movie maker 2.6, The error messages says that my system can't support Movie Maker?
