Trying to create 20 more Microsoft accounts for my company to go along with the windows phones we are providing and I am getting the error 450.

I am trying to create 20 more accounts and will be done by the end of the month.

Please do not move this to discussions, it is several technical issues that need to be answered.

Technical question in BOLD

For several weeks I and many others have been trying to resolve the problems associated with passwords and no access to accounts that were originally linked in hotmail, without success. This is very frustrating and I have tried to contact the senior directors at Microsoft to no avail.

While hotmail informed customers of the changes, the new systems in place are failing thousands (if not more) of customers who had previously linked accounts.

Customers cannot access their accounts due to the reset password, customer support, code activation and senior support functions not working correctly or satisfactorily.

Do not send private responses and links to information, that is not the request here and this repetitive behaviour from Microsoft does not resolve these issues as we have already seen on many of these pages before us.

Question - What is Microsoft doing to resolve these technical issues and when will this be fixed please?

Thank you

I have an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) synced with my Hotmail account.  Most of my contact information is saved in my Hotmail account, and all this information syncs with the contacts on my phone.  Yesterday when the problems started with the various Microsoft services I noticed that none of this contact information was available on my phone anymore and that the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync icons next to each synced contact had disappeared.  Today all the information has returned to my phone, so I assume Microsoft has made progress in fixing the problem.  But I was very surprised that when there was a problem with a cloud service from Microsoft, it apparently means all the synced contact information just disappears from my phone!  I understand that the actual synchronization process may not work while the could service is down, but I don't understand why the information would be gone from my phone.  Shouldn't all this contact information be saved locally on my phone so that I can always access it even when outlook.com and related services aren't functioning properly?

I also use the Windows Live Mail desktop program, which also has contact information synced with my Hotmail account.  Despite the problems with the Microsoft services, all my contact information remained on my computer, as expected.  So it was only on my phone where all the information disappeared.  So I don't know if this is an Android problem or a Microsoft problem or some combination.

How can I make sure that all my contact information stays on my phone, even when there is a problem with Microsoft's cloud services, but that the contact information will also continue to sync with my Hotmail account when the cloud services are working properly?
I get the message "You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account."
I don't have any subscriptions, I never did. How do I close it?

Hi,

I know this has been posted about by many people but in all the discussions I have trawled through to find an answer to my problem, I have only found rubbish advice from moderators and Microsoft advisors. Hence why I am posting again.

When my email account was changed to Outlook, I lost all my old emails. Microsoft kindly deleted them all for me and left only those that were about a month old. So I recovered all I could.

Now my old emails, that I want to keep in my inbox, as I did before, delete themselves periodically and leave me with only the past month's. There are no funny rules on my account or odd junk email filters. It just keeps deleting the emails and I cannot find a way to stop it. I do not want to have to keep recovering my old emails as this is not practical and I will lose some along the way. This never happened before the move to outlook but now is a serious problem for me and many others.

There must be an answer but all I find from looking on the forums is a load of guff from "experts" who are not fixing this problem. Neither has there been any good answer as to why and how this has happened.

Please can somebody help as I am at the end of my tether with it.

Thanks,

Simon

Greetings,

I am trying to enable two-step verification. The first step is to verify my cell phone number or email address, but I'm not receiving the code that Microsoft is supposed to be sending me.

The same cell number and email are used on another @live.ca account. Does Microsoft only allow two-step verification to be turned on once for each person, even if they have more than one account?

Thanks,

Shane.

I represent a school district where I am trying to create 300 skydrive accounts for the beginning of school next week.  I am limited to creating 5 accounts per day, then I get the following message:

Sign Up Error 450

You've reached the daily limit for creating Microsoft accounts. Please wait a day and try to sign up again or contact support for assistance.

Is there a way to allow our school district's IP address to be allowed to create all of these accounts at on the same day?

Thank you for your help.
