I changed my password two days ago and made a simple mistake in changing the DOB. When I got a parental control issue error I changed it back. Now I can't access my freaking email! I tried logging in as the parental verification and it's asking me for
50 cents to verify my age. I thought that was ridiculous and called MSN technical support in India and they said they couldn't help me and told me to pay the 50 cents and then change the date. That did not work at all, I got an error saying that there is an
issue with Microsoft try again later. Tried four more time and got the same message. Called back tech support and was referred to Microsoft answers for Social Media help... Really?? No one to talk to? After over 15 years with MSN paying an annual fee of $80+
no help? I asked for a tear two technician and they said no... So here I am like an **** trying to get help from a social media site and need to wait for a response... Eddie
Hi
I have received multiple texts with "Microsoft account security code: xxxxxxx and one with Microsoft account password reset code: xxxxxxx
They had all seven characters as an input.
I am using microsoft hotmail or outlook and MSN. I also have a MCP account as I hold some certifications from Microsoft.
However the number that these texts were received from has NEVER been associated with any microsoft product. I have this number for several months now. I do have associated this number with gmail though don't know if that has any bearing on this subject.
Could someone tell me what this is about??
I did a test and switched the phone number i had associated with my hotmail account with the one i have now (the one i receive the texts) and the security code is 4 characters long not seven.
Is Microsoft using the same SMSC with google?

A year ago I created an hotmail.com email account for my minor child,
"successfully purchased Online service age verification on Saturday, June 02, 2012" (that was a $0.50 payment to Microsoft)
and joined "Microsoft Family Safety".
Now my child cannot login to the email account (error message "That Microsoft account doesn't exist").
When I go to https://account.live.com/MyKids.aspx under my own (parent) account I see a message "You have no child accounts".
I still see my child's account under https://familysafety.microsoft.com but that's pretty useless -- I need email access.
Please help, I want my kid's email account back.
When trying to sign into his Outlook Hotmail account my husband has had a message come up telling him that he was entitled to a specific number to sign in with if there were any problems, and subsequently received a message by phone giving him a number.
I am worried in case this is some sort of scam or is this indeed a genuine message from Microsoft?
I’ve accidentally deleted my Personal Microsoft account.....is there anyway to reinstate it?
I have a work one and a personal one and my skydrive was getting confused between the two so i thought that I would delete the personal account but now my home office has stopped working.
When I attempt to access my email I am being asked for a CODE to access it. I haven't seen anything from Microsoft informing that we now need a code to access our emails. I have five days to accept a code otherwise it's threatened my account to be closed...Can
anyone enlighten me please as to what this is about. Or is it a hacking device???
i have a new computer and my daughter signed me in with the wrong email and password. i had to delete my Microsoft account and trying to set up account with email address she used but i keep getting "email account is already being used". It is not to
my knowledge. and right now i can't use my windows eight start.
I would like to know what are the name servers linked to my email account? Currently my emails are hosted by Microsoft but my domain name is being administered by Godaddy. They have asked me to reach out to you to find out the name servers and would
like to request your help. Please advise how I can submit my email address so that it is not in the public....

I'm using Outlook 2010, The problems happened when our office switched to Microsoft 365 Outlook.
I keep an incredible amount of information in the Notes of my contacts. To keep it readable, I use a lot of formatting with color, fonts, indents, underlining etc. I also used the 'All Fields' section with User Defined Fields. None of that transferred over with the change. Fortunately, I have a copy of that Contact Database. I tried recopying it into my current one. But they change back-possibly after rebooting. I can't keep looking back at the old Outlook file and trying to keep it up to date as well as my current one. It's just not working.
I am extremely frustrated that all of my efforts have been for not and my long string of notes is just that - a non-stop run of mish-mash with no paragraph returns or anything. I have reformatted some of the contacts numerous times only to have them return to Arial 12 in all black and run together. This causes a lot of aggravation with my job because I constantly need to access this information.
Do I need to hunt for another software program that is recommended for contacts on the PC, or is there a fix for this?
