i would like to sign in as invisible , or busy, or away, how can i change this. i dont like this new microsoft thing with the skype, i would rather have my other messenger back

I have many Contacts that I expect I will not be able to retain a listing off unless I am able to obtain a List of Contact Names and their respective Email Addresses. I used to be able to be able to Print off  a Listing called: Windows Live Hotmail Print Contacts, however, even that can't  be found. So, I need some help in retrieving my list of Contacts and their Email Addresses. I feel that Microsoft should have provided a Link whereby, if we wanted to, we copuld export our existing list of Contacts to a new email website, this would help eliminate the problems we're facing now and I think this is most unfair of Microsoft that they are merging Messenger with Skype and eliminating our ability to use Messenger for emails to and from our existing Contacts.
I have an email correspondence that has been ongoing and now suddenly I cant open the emails whether sent, deleted, saved, Inbox - the message I get is 'Hotmail wasn't able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report' and of course I hear nothing. Thank you for you assistance and advise.
I called Microsoft for support.  They wanted to see my screen and I had to accept the applet "LogMeInRescue."  Now it will never leave my machine.  Every time I start up my computer it's there, and every day I have to quit it.  It starts with this message (below is from two days):

[3:57 PM] Connecting...

[3:57 PM] This session has expired and can no longer be used. To start a new session this applet must be downloaded again.

[10:12 AM] Connecting...

[10:12 AM] This session has expired and can no longer be used. To start a new session this applet must be downloaded again.

I asked the person on the phone (Microsoft Support) how to get rid of it, but his only idea was to check Startup Items, but it's not there.  How can I get this thing off my computer?

(I categorized this under Outlook only because it was due to an Outlook problem that I had to call in; there is no choice for LogMeInRescue.)

Received the email below. Is this a hoax mail or for real?

Can access my hotmail but cannot open any emails Lets me delete emails but not read them Message comes up saying hotmail was not able to complete this request Microsoft may contact  you about any issues you report

My son's hotmail account (REMOVED) has been blocked by hotmail: He has sent in 5 request forms to reactivate the account, which were rejected each time.  He then called Microsoft's support hotline, who told him to post his question on the forum, which he was unable to do since the account is still blocked.  I am hopeful you are able to send me a non boilerplate form to help me confirm the identity of his acccount.  He has tried the request forms and they keep rejecting them so I am wondering if there is any other information I can provide to prove the identity of his account.  The last emails he should have recieved are from blizzard entertainment regarding the change of password to that account (which is linked to the locked hotmail account) if that helps.

Sincerely,

A concerned mother

I received an email from Microsoft requesting my hotmail information to include password, stating that my account would be closed in 48 hours if I don't respond.  Is this legitimate?
I am really disappointed in the lack of a format picture toolbar where I can size a picture that is inserted into an email.  In Office for Windows, it is very easy to do.  I can't believe that Microsoft choose not to have this feature in the Mac version.  This seems like a planted dis-feature to make the Windows product better than the Mac version.  I know I can create emails with pictures in Word and then copy them over, but this seems like a pretty messy solution.  I am always inserting images into emails.  Mostly all of my photos are way to big to send in the email.  Cropping and resizing is very easy to do in the Windows version. I am really upset that I cannot do this simple function on my Mac.
when logging into Microsoft messenger- the username is not mine.  I don't know this name: kermitthefrog(2).  What should I do?
