My account was compromised this past weekend. I have spoken to multiple Customer Service representatives that stated I would receive a "security report" that detailed the nature of the breach, times my account was accessed, how many attempts to log in occurred, when Microsoft took action and locked the account, as well as what information in my profile and saved emails were accessed or attempted to be accessed.

I just received an email stating that I needed to use the forum to post this concern. It is very important that I receive this information as soon as possible.

my mother has an account on Microsoft as well & she has been using it to sign in to Facebook. However, it's been more than a year that she never signed in to check her mailbox. Now that she tries to, there is a prompt that her account does not exist. Is there a possibility that her account has been deactivated by Microsoft? & if yes, then what should she do now?
Over weekend received what looked like official request from Microsoft to add second layer of security to my email.  I followed instrutions-their code sent to husand's email automatically(didn't put it in). I have called(just awhile ago) and emailed to get my iphone email access to work.  Gave me go.microsoft.com/fwlink?Linkld=277093(text) to make it work. Just called 18552244648 from Microsoft(looked up online). They directed me to logmein123 etc. Wanted to charge me $69.99(Adam Sandler) to fix this problem. I am baffled. I did not ask for this. I didn't want this. Why should I pay for this? How do I fix it? Is this a scam?  Gloria Solorzano

Hi

I have an IMac running snow leopard and outlook 2011 for Mac.

Since Microsoft changed from Hotmail I cannot get my outlook  2011 to sync with my live account.

So I purchased an office 365 home premium account, still no luck.

If I use pop3 (which I thought went out with the ark) it does no bring back my folders only my Inbox.

If I use Microsoft outlook for a web browser, all works well.  All of my folders are there.

If I use outlook 2013 on a surface pro running windows 8.1 then all of my folders are there.

However, I notice that the connection is an "exchange active sync" whereas all my other accounts (office 365 E1) are exchange server accounts.

When I try and use outlook 2011 for Mac outlook goes into a loop re-directing me to HTTPS:// autodiscover.Hotmail.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

And outlook never completes the connection.

Anybody any ideas ?

Thanks

Nigel
