I have received the following email regarding my hotmail a/c apparently from Microsoft Team. How can I verify that the source is legitimate and is it safe to provide all that info, password in particular? it is coming from (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) ... Thx ... mg

I've got an e-mail from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The e-mail title is "*****SPAM***** Personalize your Windows".
I was afraid to download the picture in the e-mail cause the title "SPAM".
The e-mail also end with the statement below, seems like sent from Microsoft officially.
