I'm unable to log into my Microsoft account. I signed up using a gmail.com address as my user name. This was verified in a reply email from microsoft. All worked well for a few day until I got a message to reset my password. I tried to log into
my MS account however the system states that my username/account does not exist. I cannot therefore reset any user account details. I have tried the MS reset pages but they do not work as my account 'does not exist'. I have downloaded and run the accounts
trouble shooter without result, 'I do not exist'. Ist line MS support was unable to help. Second line MS support abandoned me after promising to call back. I've signed up for a second MS account using another e address to log into this system. I now
have no admin rights on my computer because my password is not recognized. Can anyone help to get me out of this loop of 'non existance'?
Hello,
I have problem to log in to my outlook account. When I do log in, this error occurs:
This account can't be used to access Outlook.com
You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).
I have used this account for 2 years with no problem.
Could anyone please tell me how can I solve this problem please?
Thank you
Jan
Hello,
I'd like to access my old hotmail account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
It's likely been about 6-9 months since I last logged in, but I would still like to have this account active for emergencies.
How do I login? I tried the main microsoft login page when you type in www.hotmail.com, I got the following message after putting in my fieldchick@hotmail account and password:

Microsoft installed a bunch of updates, since then I get a message to activate my Microsoft account. When I click on activate, it says it cannot be activated right now - try later. Therefore I cannot get into my Settings, to reset (the changed) lock page.

If your Microsoft account ends with .edu domain extension name and is being managed by your University domain administrator:
- Make sure that you're signed out from any Microsoft services.
- Optimize your browser by clearing its cache and cookies. You may follow the instructions in this link on how to do it.
- Sign in to your account through http://www.outlook.com/[yourdomainextensionname] Example: Your email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. You should sign in through http://www.outlook.com/sample.edu
- Please try to contact your University domain administrator and check for possible issues.
I've tried this and no luck accessing my account still. Can you please reset my acccount???
Dear Microsoft Support Team
I am using Microsoft outlook to check my emails from 4 different providers. On July-17 all of my email accounts has been hacked.
These are my accounts:
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
& *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I recovered the outlook & gmail account but others are out of reach. Because of loop in alternative email section of these two, I can not receive the recovery code. I tried the Recover Microsoft account, but the automated support team couldn't verify me.
I think this can be solved by checking the information of my outlook account in:
Inbox>Options>Your email accounts
Please help me get my email account back.
Regards,
Abolghasemi
