My Hotmail Account has been deleted through Windows 8

10. August 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: inactive account, Microsoft account, My Hotmail Account, Windows 8

Hi Microsoft Team,

My Hotmail account has been deleted some how as a result of trying to create a user on my new computer with Windows 8. I'm having to email you off my mums email as when trying to log on mine it states "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account."

My account hasn't been deleted as a result of an inactive account as I sent and received an email just yesterday.

My Windows 8 User Account has been playing up and has therefore switched to a Local Account.

Please can you advise me on how I get my Hotmail account back as I have a lot of emails on that account that are needed. When trying to email my account all messages are undeliverable.

The account that has been deleted is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

You can reply back to my mums account as she will notify me.

Many Thanks,

Melanie

Erroraneous info regarding Aliases on outlook page

10. August 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Aliases, Microsoft account
Hi,
1. How many aliases can we've with our already existing Microsoft account? According to the page:
https://account.live.com/AddAssocId?ru=&cru=&fl=

Add an alias

Your account can have up to 0 aliases, each of which lets you sign in to all the devices and services that use Microsoft account. Your aliases share a single password, and you can send and receive mail with each.

2. When hotmail has been merged with *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, why can't I send or receive mail with

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Kindly guide.

Regular keyboard of a brand new laptop is locked and made inoperative by information in Microsoft Account.

Information in my Microsoft account acquired with a former computer locks the keyboard in a brand new laptop and forces me to use the on screen keyboard. How can I reach that Microsoft account data to remove that most annoying feature. The same  information is transmitted to the local account of the same name. The other user accounts are not affected.

Email verification on new account creation?

09. August 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account creation, email verification, Microsoft account

This happened while I was creating a new different outlook account.

Everyone knows the new email account creation process in outlook, first name, last name...., then the place for your id. Normally its someone@outlook/hotmail/live.com, but this time I could enter any name I want, like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, then I filled out other parts of the form and submitted. I thought it would give some kind of error, but my account is created and redirects to Microsoft account setting page before loading the mail page. The page says:

Call us overprotective, but we need to verify that *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is yours

Before you can continue, you need to check your inbox for a message from the Microsoft account team. Follow the instructions in the mail to finish setting up your account.

Use a different email address as your Microsoft account

Resend email.

So, now I try to open the mail, another Hotmail/outlook.com or mail.live.com and I enter *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (previously created) and its password, well it logs in but with same error.

So my question is how do I verify my email (above as said created) when I cannot open my email page. Every time I try to login, I get the same page and there is no going beyond. I can rename my alias and open the mail, but cant login using *** Email address is removed for privacy *** address anymore it says the address doesn't exist (when before renaming I could well login with it), I have to use the renamed address to login. Now when I again try to rename, well I can, to same *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , but with same overprotective page.

Hi

I was trying to set up an outlook account with my domain, but I keep on getting this message:
This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.
the complete link to the domain website is http://www.lussocashmere.com

The nature of the domain name is:
 - the domain is for a cashmere online store
 - it's made up of the italian word "lusso" which means luxury, and the word cashmere which is the name of the fibre from hircus goats

Thanks for all the help

I signed up for my Microsoft Account with an email that I no longer have access to, and I cannot change it by renaming my primary alias it because I get the error "The email address associated with your Microsoft account can't be changed." I have been informed I cannot change it because I have paid subscriptions on this Microsoft Account. What do I do?
