It keeps saying there is no microsoft account attached to the email that I think I used.
I forgot what email I used when creating the gamertag.
How can I recover the gamertag and reset the email that is attached and remove the gamertag to the email I want to use?
I am attempting add aliases to my Microsoft account. I have several email addresses, one from a private domain hosted on Outlook.com and several standard Outlook.com email addresses.
Each time I try to add an alias it tells me the email is already in use or something similar. I thought the idea was that you could combine several *existing* or new email accounts under your Microsoft account as aliases, but each time I try to add an account it tells me I can't do it.
I have not tried creating yet another new account, since I already have 3 or 4 accounts I would like to consolidate under one alias.
Can someone explain why this doesn't work, if it should work, and what I need to do in order to actually take advantage of the Alias feature to consolidate/combine email addresses under one account?

Yesterday I successfully registered for Expert Zone. I first logged in, as prompted, with my Microsoft Account, filled out all the personal info and put in my company code, etc. and then did the verification. All worked fine. I spent all day then completing over 25 courses. Today I go back, on another CPU and go to Expert Zone and again it has me log in with my Microsoft Account...all is good until it then routes me to the registration page that I have already filled out. After panicking (because of all my trainings completed) I tried to fill out the registration once more but it errors and says the email address I use (my work address) is in use. So the good news is it seems my account from yesterday exists (email is in use), but the bad news is I cannot find a way to get back to the training dashboard so I can get started on day two's trainings. Can someone help me please?

My mom's Sympatico account is suspended and now she is not able to access here email. Just so you are aware, she is legally blind and is very dependent of communicating via her computer. I believe the account is suspended due to too many attempts to log into her account as opposed to it being hacked.
I am trying to get this resolved on her behalf, based on the below steps (found in this community), but the account is still suspended. I have done the first set of instructions twice with the same result (the automated process is not able to verify the account) and the second set of instructions do not seem to be available anymore.
We really need to get her existing account back due to the history and how it is tied to her daily life. Any help on who to contact or other options to reset the password would be appreciated.

Go to (https://account.live.com/password/reset) to make the validation process and follow the steps below: Upon the validation procedure, you will be prompted to provide an active alternate email where the password reset link will be sent once you passed the validation (Step#6)
1. Select "I think someone else is using my Microsoft account". Or “I forgot my password” (Select which is applicable).
2. Click "Reset your password".
3. Enter your Microsoft account (The account affected by the issue) and type in the characters you'll see in the pictures
4. Hit Next.
5. Click "I can’t use any of these options".
6. Enter a working email address (Alternate e-mail address) where we can contact you.
7. Click “Next”.
8. Fill-up the form and click “Submit”.
You can also try to reset your password using SMS through https://sms.live.com/ or by answering the security questions.

So I just got a latitude 10 Tablet. I was setting it up and created a Microsoft account with my current email address. After creating it I realized I already had a Microsoft account because I use Xbox live. The problem is that the email that is associated with the Microsoft account with Xbox live is old and I cannot access it. I can access the account but not the email. So I researched about creating a new alias and was planning on doing this with my current email. So before creating a new alias I closed the new Microsoft account I created when setting up the latitude 10. Then when I went to create a new alias with my current email it says "this email address is already taken" . I don't know what to do now. PLEASE HELP.
Also I cant create a new Microsoft account with the current email that I closed. I realized this when I tried to recreate the account and just move the Xbox live account over to the new account.
