Dear Sir/Madam,

My Microsoft ID "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" has been hacked yesterday evening. I check my email yesterday afternoon and today
in morning when I try to log in I got following error message"
"That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account."

On my alternate email address I got following email from Microsoft account team <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

""
  • *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Hi,

You have changed your primary alias from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

If this is correct, you don't need to do anything.

If this is incorrect, please follow these steps:
1. Reset your password by going to https://account.live.com/password/reset
2. Change your primary alias by going to https://account.live.com/

Thanks,
The Microsoft account team  """

I tried both links countless times but invain. Every time I used Link-1( Password reset) I get message "The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again."
Every time I used link-2 I get message ""That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account."

My Microsoft ID "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" about 15 years old and I never did Change or Rename or deactivate etc. I continuously using
it. It is my personal email and I have about all of my family photos in skydrive.
Dear All I need urgent access to my account and also wish my account intact.

HELLO,

After three glorious days of attempting to close (Delete) my Microsoft account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) it seems the company just doesn't want to let me go, which to be honest is being such a pain in the backside. All I now want is for a somebody to come along and DELETE my Microsoft account and everything attached to the account.

Now before we begin with the pointless instructions as to 'How to close your account' I know how to close my account, I don't have any security setting, attached devices, I have no payments or MS points of any kind. When I type in my password to 'Close' my account I get the following message.

'Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes.'

Okay so that's the issue your saying, Server problems, don't worry that's what I thought as well. so I did as asked and waited for like a couple of hours and tried again, same message. I tried again a day later, same message, I tried again TWO days later, same message, I tried again this morning, SAME MESSAGE. (I would also like to point out during this time I was checking the Microsoft service status online, and it stated the service was 'running normally').

So what do I actually want? Well after three days of trying to delete this account I would like a Microsoft Tech/Rep/Support Agent/Anybody, who can actually DELETE this account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and it's attached accounts to just, please delete it.

Thank your for your help.

Kieran.

I cannot log in to my Microsoft account.

When I try to reset my password it tells me "The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again."
Despite having received a verification code via this very email address. I had to create another account to log in to submit this question.

How can I enable autocomplete for the Microsoft account field when signing in to outlook.com?

I have 2 computers running W7 and one running Vista.  On 2 of the three machines, (one W7, one Vista) when I begin entering my username into the Microsoft account field to sign in to Outlook.com, autocomplete presents suggestions for entry in a drop down which is helpful.

On the other W7 machine, no dropdown is presented.  Apparently I've done something to disable the dropdown and am unable to discover how to re enable the feature. (At one time the drop down did work.)

I've found several suggestions to enable the autocomplete for entry of email addresses within Outlook for use when sending email but not for enabling autocomplete during Outlook.com (or live, skydrive etc.) sign in.

Thanks for any assistance offered.

Now logon request even as I want to read topic.
