I do not want to use to use microsoft passwords with Windows 8. How do I do this?

I am perfectly happy with my existing Gmail calendar etc and do not want to import it to Microsoft calendar and use that. How do I sync my existing accounts without having to link to a Microsoft account. Same question arises for my existing Gmail calendar, Facebook account, Skype account. Am close to uninstalling Windows 8 . Very unhappy with it.

Microsoft account blocked – Unable to use xbox live

12. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Microsoft account
When setting up my xbox live account account i used the following email address *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but i no longer used that as my email account, so i was unaware that this account had been blocked until now. So recently i think xbox live updated their security (or it may be because my account got blocked) and i needed to sign in with my Microsoft account. I did that but got an error code: 8015D02E
So now i am unable to use my xbox live profile that had £60 worth of membership left on it, around £60 worth of add-ons on my profile and im rather annoyed about it.
The problem i have is, Microsoft, the clever people they are, when i go to verify my account the security code is sent to the account that is blocked (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Applause. So i am unable to verify it in that way, and their superb questionnaire i have to fill out i am unable to give enough information. Applause again.
So i can't use my xbox live that i have payed for, and can unblock my account that was probably blocked by the magnificent automatic spam filters.

Merging 2 Microsoft Account

11. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Microsoft account, Microsoft Account Hi

Hi,

Here is my situation:

I have my private domain that I use for email address. Let's say my email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I used to use this email address as my primary Microsoft Account. So I had an account with the username *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

I no longer use that account. Recently I have created another regular account under outlook.com which I use as my primary account. Lets call it *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

I want to merge the 2 account for the following reasons:

I have no need for 2 accounts.

My old account has 25GB as the new one has only 7GB.

It would be nice to natively send mails and sign in as my email address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I assume the "Aliases" feature does this? I tried signing in to my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account and adding *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as an alias but it says that address is already taken. Should I close *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account first?

Is there another way besides aliases?

How much storage will I get in the end?

Will I be able to send email as *** Email address is removed for privacy ***?

Thanks,

Itay.

live.com account (Parent) unable to be used in Family Safety Filter

10. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Family Safety, Microsoft account, parent account

Hello,

I have two microsoft accounts that were linked before Microsoft unlinked the accounts.  I used one of them for Family Safety on several pc's with 3 child accounts and an additional parent account.

I purchased a Windows Phone but was unable to setup the Windows Phone with parental controls.  The MS support rep got it working but the child account is now linked to my second microsoft account.  My problem is that now I cannot use the second account to login to Family Safety filter on any pc.  I want to move all the child accounts and family safety to my second live account but it seems the account does not have that capability.

All of the pc's are Windows 7.

Thanks

Microsoft account is incorrect

The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again.
Hey there guys. Earlier on I was trying to access an old account to reset my password for another service. I have one email address that I only use for my old jewelry business and rarely checked it in a while. But then when I hopped over to the Hotmail site to log in and proceed with the password reset, Hotmail gave me an error every time I attempted to log into the account.

I was using all the correct credentials and I even tried to reset the password on my Hotmail account but this also gave me an error message stating that the account was incorrect. This account was never really used as I said I only used it with my jewelry business so it has been a good two years. Online chat just gave me a link for re identifying my account and password reset. When I informed her that neither worked she got frazzled and terminated the chat. I tried to set up a new email via MSN.com to get the email name back and MSN told me that it was "reserved through hotmail or outlook" and I can not add it through outlook as I can not get the msn.com extension. I need help as I am applying for a job and the original password for this service expired so it sent a email link to my old msn.com address that I can not access and I can not ask it to send it to a different address or even my other msn.com address.

So anyone got any idea on what is going on here? Or has anyone else experienced the same problems with disused accounts disappearing?
By the way this Hotmail account ended in " @msn.com " I don't know if that helps at all but that's all the information I can provide.

Thanks for reading, Hope to hear from the community soon!

microsoft account won’t let me type on keyboard

10. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: microsoft, Microsoft account

One of my Microsoft accounts causes my keyboard to NOT respond (touchpad STILL works) after I log in to that Microsoft account on Windows 8. I know the account is the culprit because the keyboard works with my OTHER Microsoft accounts!

I have had the hardware checked out by my PC manufacturerS (YES! this is happening on BOTH of my Windows 8 devices) so I know that the hardware is NOT at fault.

By the way, the keyboard works with the built-in administrator account!

Hotmail doesn’t find my email account in password recovery

10. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: hotmail, Microsoft account, password recovery
Hi

I wanted to log in to one of my email accounts that I use specifically for my iTunes account, but it has been some time since I've actually logged in and I forgot the password.

Naturally I then attempted to reset my password through Hotmail's reset function, but it keeps telling me that my Microsoft account is invalid. I know this account exists because it is currently connected to my iTunes Apple account, and I can make purchases with this account without any problems, however Hotmail seems to think the email address doesn't exist or isn't proper for some reason.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

My MS Account is “temporarily blocked” and I need it unblocked or unsupended

09. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Constant Contact, microsoft, Microsoft account

Hello,

My Microsoft account was temporarily blocked around November/December of last year, and I have been with constant contact with Microsoft, Xbox, and even Verizon support ever since. I've changed my password numerous times, submitted many claims, and have probably accumulated 15 different case numbers. I have spoken with many employees who I dare say do not deserve the job I had. For example, I would tell the support staff that I had just changed my password, and that it did not solve my problem. Twenty four hours later, I would get a response email asking me to change my password, as this should solve the problem. The absolute and total lack of competence really shocks me, but I digress. I have a seemingly simple problem with what I feel is a simple explanation: my Microsoft account, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, was temporarily blocked. This most recently has spread to my gamertag, and I can no longer access xbox live for this reason. Now, I am paying for two accounts, one of which I cannot even use. My solution and ultimate goal in all of this is rather straight forward: I want my gamertag, Alienplatypus, to be transferred to my new Microsoft account, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I have already verified ownership of both the account and the console on which it was made and primarily used. Most recently, I was informed by xbox support that I should post using this site, as they determined the root of my problem to be the suspension of my account. So, finally, here is my case number: 1217623955. That should have any other information you may need. However, if you have any questions that you need to ask that will help expedite this process, please email me at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, or call/text me at 856-628-6397. Thank you for your consideration, and I am very much looking forward to the recovery of my account in anticipation for the release of the Xbox One, which I am most excited about.

Thanks again,

Alex Marino
