Also on the Mac I cannot move emails from the mail account to an offline folder...
Running an outlook.com account on both iPad and Mac. If I delete an email on iPad this replicates at the server, no problem. If I delete or move an email on the Mac, there is no change at the server or iPad. Any suggestions?
My mail account was hacked into, and i managed to reset my password using the secondary password. When i logged on with the newly created password, i noticed that it appears as if i just created a new mailbox (as i had a Welcome Mail). Also all my previous
emails had disappeared. Please assist in retrieving the old emails. Thanks

I recently opened an Outlook.com mail account. I used the Outlook Connector to add the account to Outlook 2007. All my folders and mails appeared, but if I delete or receive a new e-mail in the web version, it does not update Outlook 2007 even when I click the Send & Receive button.
Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Windows 8 with Windows Updates - and ran updates yesterday. I use Outlook for 3 online accounts and the only one that has problems is the default msn account. The other two are gmail accounts.

I looked online for resolutions to 4102 errors. Then searched around in outlook data files. The data ost file (app. 1 GB) for the msn account was not available. I ran a scanpst on that file and afterwards the error messages stopped. Still the send / receive indicator ran and never seemed to finish (green indicator partly through). Now I'm back to the current state and the ost file is again unavailable.
Once Outlook during this phase stopped running rules automatically, which may just be an intermittent error. I could start them and then it worked OK.

I have a me.com email from apple and I have set this up with outlook 2011 for mac, the service is extremely unstable though...I get prompted for password constantly and can't send emails from my mail account and when I enter password that is correct it
is not accepted. The web based mail application works perfectly fine, so I know my password is correctly. This must be a bug as it actually works occasionally... Or has iCloud changed the requirements on IMAP outgoing message settings? But seriously, it frustrates
the **** out of me and I can't use my mail as it was intended and what I paid for. I have seen posts about this before, but none of the suggested solutions had any effects... like re-setting key chain, deleting and set-up mail account again, using back slash
(\) before user name etc... NOTHING has worked... PLease someone help... and BTW it's freaki'n hard to find a support function from either apple or M-soft to contact... Dammit, I pay full license fee and stick to the books, but still when something goes south...

I opened long time ago a mail adress from hotmail for a specifical game. And I didn't use this mail adress for long time. Even didn't open it. And now I'm having a message that says "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address
or get a new account." when I try to log in to my mail. I need that mail adress to play that game. And that account certainly was there before outlook.

I check my e-mail most days, also check from iphone and My Mac as well.
I log in my hotmail , and check mail ,, but I only can see few mails on inbox, I can't see and find thousand of mails.
