Error when setting up Microsoft Outlook:Mac 2011 application to sync my Outlook.com account using imap

I followed the settings in this link: Set up an email app with Outlook.com

which are:

  • Incoming (IMAP) Server

    • Server address: imap-mail.outlook.com

    • Port: 993

    • Encrypted Connection: SSL

  • Outgoing (SMTP) Server

    • Server address: smtp-mail.outlook.com

    • Port: 25 (or 587 if 25 is blocked)

    • Authentication: Yes

    • Encrypted Connection: TLS

  • User name: Your email address

  • Password: Your password


But I'm getting an error from Outlook 2011 for Mac application. Which is:

Error: 
OK Outlook.com IMAP4rev1 server version 17.2.0.0 ready (BLU451-IMAP82)

Details: 
Could not retrieve mail.

Account name: "Outlook"

Error Code: -16997
