When logging into my email the default page is a search I conducted months ago rather than inbox

I did a search in my inbox months ago and now every time I open my email the default view is an old email saved in a folder, rather than my inbox. I have changed the settings in "reading pane" and "active view settings" for the default but nothing seems to work. Each time I open my email the first thing I see is an old email saved in a folder. I want to see the main page of the inbox when I open my email.

Hello,

 

I cannot receive or send email, but my inbox, junk, and trash folders are completely clean. I received an email from Outlook two days ago saying my inbox was growing too fast. I moved my 1000's of emails to my archive folder, and deleted my junk and trash so why can I not receive emails?

 

I have the proper browser downloaded, so this is not the problem.

Each time log on instead going to inbox I get a message 'sorry there seems to be a problem with, outlook'' once I click continue I can open to inbox how can I go straight there?

Using office 2010, windows 7.

Inbox failing to load - able to see messages in inbox, but circular arrows/loading sign are continuous & unable to click on any of messages.

Have logged in & out, switched on & off. First time have encountered this problem. How do I resolve? Thanks.

Having one common inbox in outlook for MAC

I just purchased an imac and imported my outlook PST file from my prior windows machine. The imported file now appears in outlook for MAC as a separate folder and not part of the inbox. I wanted to keep my old inbox (from my pst file) and not create a separate one. Is there any way to solve this ?

I clicked on any email on the outlook.com inbox but mail cant open for 3 days already. This is a new problem for me.

I clicked on an email on the outlook.com inbox but mail cant open for 3 days already.  This is a new problem for me  and I used the same windows 7 and chrome with lots of email memory and pc memory.. Searching the Community answers showed a solution as : open inbox, click the view menu , select reset.  

Simple?? No.

There is no view menu I can see. I OPENED THE INBOX, its View: all down arrow is no help.  I clicked the gear box,  no view menu and tried the email accounts  and clicked multiple choices but nothing worked.  Could somebody please help the thousands of troubled users, in additon to fire the guy for this bug. I loved my outlook .com  until the LAST 3 DAYS.  wHAT A shame.  Cant view my emails.

My Outlook account is receiving junk mail in the inbox

For the last few days I have been receiving junk mail in my inbox.  My junk folder still receives some junk mail, it's just that some get into the inbox.  It's almost as if I hit the "not junk" button.  How do I stop this?  Thanks.

My inbox is now being infiltrated by all sorts of junk mail.  Despite blocking future junk mail and future junk mail in my inbox, it still comes, up to 80 or so a day.  I have also changed my password, but still no improvement.The junk mail seems to hail from United States banks and businesses and credit places, along with the usual ones wanting to hook up, etc. Should I close this account and open another with google instead of hotmail?

I have no problem accessing my email account but when I click on my inbox or any message in my inbox it is greyed out and will not open. I can go to reply and read my mail but am limited to just reading it which is senseless. my junk mail folder works the same way. II am using Win 7,Silverlight and the current Internet Explorer. My mail account used to work until It changed to Outlook.

Within the past couple days I started getting emails to my inbox that should be going to my junk mail folder, do I have a virus? How can I fix this?
