I did a search in my inbox months ago and now every time I open my email the default view is an old email saved in a folder, rather than my inbox. I have changed the settings in "reading pane" and "active view settings" for the default but nothing seems to work. Each time I open my email the first thing I see is an old email saved in a folder. I want to see the main page of the inbox when I open my email.

Ughhhhh.... I am so frustrated with the changeover from Hotmail to Outlook. Another issue that I'm currently having now is that when I sign-in the default view is to a random folder (not the Inbox itself). As in, I have a folder called "Deals" that is a sub-folder of the actual Inbox where new mail comes in. When I sign in, it defaults to the "Deals" folder instead of the actual Inbox. This is just irritating every time. Can you assist?

Yes, it happens every time.
No, it doesn't matter which browser I use (I'm using Chrome and Chrome Incognito)

I have attached a screenshot for your reference. This is the view I get when I sign-on.

Thanks.
Hi,
Please help, I am having an issue where I lost all the view settings on my outlook 2011 every time I close it then re-open, such as when I open I have to configure the panel message side, view by "Date Received", Reading Pane as "Below", so when I shutdown my MAC for the day, then turn on in the morning, the outlook open but with the default view options like, View by "Conversation", Reading Pane as "Right", are there anyway to save the settings so I dont have to adjust it every time.

BTW, my MAC OS version is 10.8.2

Must Appreciates.
