Inbox flooded with deleted e-mails

About once every six months for no apparent reason, my Outlook starts loading all my deleted e-mails back into my Inbox.   Currently, there are 10,700 e-mails coming back into my Inbox which were previously deleted.

Does anyone know what causes this and how I can stop them once started ?

cannot view pages 2 thru 6 in my inbox

when I log into my email my inbox shows I have 7 pages of messages.  I click on the arrow to go to the next page and it says it goes to page 2 but it actually is showing page 7.  the last email on page 1 is dated 12/3/12 and the first email on the next page is dated 12/19/11.  where did all the emails in between go?  it shows that I have 179 new emails next to the word inbox under where my folders are listed.

Sometime after being switched to Outlook.com, I seemed to have lost the ability to retain pages of emails in my inbox.  I used to have pages of emails available for viewing.  Now I only have one page of about 18 emails or so.  If I search for a keyword, sender name, etc. of the older emails, I can find it.  Why can't I keep them in my inbox for easy viewing?   Why am I only able to view my last 18 emails or so before they get dropped off.  Some of them were important to me.

Hi, 

two days ago I checked my email and found that years worth of emails have been deleted from my inbox and folders. I didn't do this, 
WTF? I have restored what I could via deleted messages, but there are hundreds of missing emails. What can i do????? Microsoft needs to give me some serious help or I will never use anything of theirs ever again. I have lost years of work files, tax reciepts etc. All i was doing was checking my inbox and deleting messages as anyone normally would and then it was empty, and half my folders were empty. please help! can microsoft reset it to where it was a week ago?????

When trying to enter the email address *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I'm getting the error massage: 
You've lost access to your email

The inbox you've been using is no longer available. This can occur when your account is owned by an organization, or when someone else confirms ownership of the email address.

Outlook is really screwing up.   You JUNKED a contact ME!!!! Ken S.    BUT you still allow NON- contacts to get into my inbox.   WHEN will you get it right?????

I did not have this problem with HOTMAIL!      WHEN IT IS NOT BROKE   (DON'T FIX IT)   BECAUSE NOW IT IS BROKE.

IS THERE ANYONE THAT IS CAPABLE OF ACTUALLY REPAIRING OUTLOOK?

My inbox is set to exclusive.

I set message restrictions.   ODDLY, this seems to be working.   I don't get repeats YET!

I junk all junk mail.

I then mark all junk mail as phishing.

BUT new junk comes to my inbox      WHY?????     It is set to exclusive.   Is there a better or unadvertised method????
                                                          OR
                                  Is microsoft/outlook just not capable?

I am getting junk mail even if my filter settings is “exclusive”
