Hotmail changed to Outllok this morning. I can see the emails but can't open them on my desktop. I also can't move from the inbox to sent, etc. Hotmail still works on my iPhone. Any ideas for the desktop??
IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED
Dear Customer,
Windows Live Hotmail® accounts has been growing really fast.
We are having too many congested email due to the anonymous registration of Hotmail, Msn, and Live Accounts on our database system. Please reconfirm your email account and information to know if your account is still active
and will also be recorded on our new database system.
We need you to reply and fill in the information below within one week or you will lose your account permanently.

*Password
*Date of birth
*Country or Territory
Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm it.
- Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your inbox will be that much smaller.
- Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hotmail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
- Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.
If you have more questions, please read our help topic on Hotmail storage.
Sincerely,
The Windows Live Hotmail Team

Under my old Hotmail account, there was access to my contact list. Do not know how to add a contact now that I have been switched to Outlook.
Mail from my organization (ons.org) is being blocked by default for Hotmail, but not for Outlook.com addresses for some reason.
Thanks,
If I add the address to the accounts safe sender list or contacts the e-mails will go through. The problem is we run an online school, and some people register with hotmail.com addresses. When we send them their course access instructions, they don't get
it because hotmail is blocking us by default. On the mail logs Hotmail accepts the e-mail and reports it's queued for sending. We don't get an NDR telling us the e-mail was rejected, but it doesn't go to the user's junk mail or inbox either. It just gets held
somewhere.
Is there a form I can fill out, number I can call? There doesn't seem to be a lot of support for this kind of thing.
Thanks,
Will
In the new design of Hotmail, there is no "forward" anywhere in the menu. This occurs only in the swedish version, English version is ok under "actions" WHY is that, shouldn't they be similar ??
Why is it that 50% or more of my "Junk" mail has an address of Hotmail.com? Since the Sender changes the Hotmail address daily it is impossible to stop. The only solutions I can come up with are:
1. Creating a rule to send all Hotmail addresses to be deleted before getting into my Junk Mail folder, or
2. Deleting my Live.com account.
If all these spam/phishing addresses are using "Hotmail", it cannot be safe?

my hotmail account (e-mails) has suddenly turned into outlook and I don't like it. Can someone help to revert back to my hotmail emails? thanks
I have tried from different computers and different browsers, no change. Also verified there's nothing wrong with the settings as it's possible to log in to other accounts from this computer.
Anyone got suggestions as to what might be wrong?
