Cannot delete Hotmail or Live Accounts due to Billing Services
I am trying to delete both my Hotmail and Live accounts however I am asked to first cancel billing subscriptions.

My hotmail says there is an Xbox membership (but it was never paid for it was a cancelled free memebership)

My live account has my Gold Xbox Membership which was cancelled and payment options removed (via calling Xbox Support)

I have the PUID ready I am just not sure if I post it on here or if a moderator will ask for it in a private message

All my Hotmail contacts disappeared from my account on Friday and I can’t retrieve them

Hi

 

I was looking at my phone on Friday morning and noticed that all my phone numbers had reverted to being displayed as only numbers and not as 'names'. I thought this meant that my phone had lost the contacts but it turned out that Hotmail (with which I sync my phone contacts) had 'disappeared' all my contacts. Over 200 contacts that I had built up over 15 or so years as a Hotmail user, both social and business contacts, just disappeared. I have tried contacting Hotmail support by email but they first said that the contacts had been deleted more than 30 days ago, which was untrue - they were present before 9am on Friday and then disappeared around 10am.

 

When I pointed this out to the email support team they suggested that the contacts had been deleted because my account had been inactive for more than 365 days. This was also untrue because I use my Hotmail account for both social and business purposes almost every day. I also pay an annual subscription for extra storage which should at least indicate that I am likely to use the account. When I stated to the support team that I had used my account actively and very recently they simply stated that "Based on the investigation, we didn't find deleted contacts at our end. Therefore, we cannot retrieve any contact as it appears that they're not deleted". Well clearly they have been deleted or hidden or disappeared or something - whatever you call it. BTW - they cannot be restored or retrieved by me from the People page of Outlook (which I tried initially, of course).

 

I have seen elsewhere on this forum that some people have provided MS with their details and that their contacts have been retrieved for them - I would be so grateful if someone could help me in this way. I have been in tears a couple of times this weekend just thinking about the work involved in gathering all this data and the loss of all the information.

i beleive my fb account is hacked, and maybe my hotmail too need to access my hotmail to change the password

i set up this hotmail account just for facebook so i don't remember all the details in its setup, nor do i remember if i actually used all real details just because of a fear of my real information being on the internet, sometime ago my pc crashed and i took it to the shop to have it repaired at a local shop in the village where i live, my passwords to my fb and hotmail is saved so i would'nt have to remember it, i need to change my hotmail pw in order to change my fb, also i need to retrieve a pic of me and my ex that might help change things around for us

How to get the code for moving from Hotmail to Outlook?

My wife is using Hotmail which was recently converted to Outlook. She has not received a code for the transition. What now?

Cannot find all emails/addresses after conversion to Outlook.

Within the last 2 days I had to completely reformat my computer back to factory settings.  Now when I sign in to hotmail it comes up through Outlook.  I had several email addresses under hotmail and msn which would all come up in the same place when I signed into hotmail.  Now I only get the main hotmail address but not the msn address or any other hotmail addresses.  How can I access those other addresses?Within the last 2 days I had to completely reformat my computer back to factory settings.  Now when I sign in to hotmail it comes up through Outlook.  I had several email addresses under hotmail and msn which would all come up in the same place when I signed into hotmail.  Now I only get the main hotmail address but not the msn address or any other hotmail addresses.  How can I access those other addresses?
