I moved from Canada to UK. ….When hotmail transition to Outlook occured….I was living in UK….all data that was stored in my mail folders from Canada did not transfer….only files that I created in UK transferred….How do I retrieve the Canada data?
ok so my previous discussion was locked and I still haven't sorted it out. long story cut short, I used my old Hotmail account for my twitter account for my business. then Hotmail changed to outlook and I haven't used my old Hotmail for years, so I was told to provide my old Hotmail address and I did. I was then told because its been inactive it was deleted from the data base.
so I need to get into my twitter account as its for my business so its very !important! how do I use my twitter account if its using my old Hotmail address that no longer exists? please help im so stressed.
After logging into Hotmail, I simply see the following error message:
Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now
To note, the Hotmail problem has nothing to with the current maintenance being performed on the Calender feature (I don't even use the Calender feature).
We are having problems with Hotmail users sending to our domain. when people send emails from our domain to Hotmail they send fine without any issues.
The Header below is from a failed email sent from a regularly used Hotmail account and which mostly fails however out of 10 emails 1 or 2 will get to there intended destination. People who are affected are using both mail-clients outlook, thunderbird and browsers like internet explorer and firefox to send emails.
Failed email was bounced by postmaster@mail.hotmail.com please note the server in both headers

However after various attempts we found the successful emails were going through a different server reference the email header seen below.

Can i ask for an investigation to why emails are being rejected by one server and not the other.
Many Thanks
Andy
Nothing on sent items.
Also nothing on thrash.
Still nothing on deleted folder.
Hotmail is my first ever email. It was 1997 when I registered on Hotmail and I got very important emails on it.
I've read in this forum that many similar problems occurred to random people since Hotmail become Outlook.
Moderators insist that only the interface changed then why so many people have missing email problems?
And no I haven't use any other type of application on phones to access my Hotmail. I only access it over Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome on
my PC.
Please help.
Zee
Here's what's happening that worries me:
After working with Hotmail for a while (reading & writing emails), I log out. Everything seems fine. Half an hour later, or even 5 minutes later, I will utilize IE-11 and go up and in the address bar I will type-in www.hotmail.com. What now happens is that the page that opens is NOT the Hotmail "sign-in" page, but my whole Hotmail e-mail collection of folders, messages, etc. That should not be happening without my signing-in.
I tried this several times-----same results. Tried to make sure that I didn't say "keep me signed-in" somewhere..... Tried to clear cookies, cache, etc. Same thing happens when I use Google Chrome.
